The role of serum adropin in determining the clinical outcomes of patients with traumatic brain injury: a case-control study.
It has been determined that adropin has a role in tissue healing. This study aimed to determine the effects of head trauma on the tissues and blood levels of patients admitted to the emergency department. ⋯ Although adropin cannot make a sharp distinction in determining the prognosis, the increase in its level in trauma patients shows that it triggers a protective mechanism.

Women with pelvic organ prolapse and fibulin-5 rs12589592 polymorphism.
This study aims to access the frequency of single-nucleotide polymorphism rs12589592 (G>A) of the fibulin-5 gene in a Brazilian population with pelvic organ prolapse. ⋯ There was no difference between groups regarding genotypes (rs12589592 G>A) frequency; however, the population characteristics prevent the analysis of the association between the genotype and the occurrence of prolapse.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between internet addiction and violence tendency in adolescent students and the factors affecting violence tendency. ⋯ These findings suggest that the variables of age and internet addiction contribute to the occurrence of violence tendency. Psychiatric nurses should plan trainings and evaluate its effectiveness to raise awareness.

Reliability and quality of information provided by artificial intelligence chatbots on post-contrast acute kidney injury: an evaluation of diagnostic, preventive, and treatment guidance.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability and quality of information provided by artificial intelligence chatbots regarding the diagnosis, preventive methods, and treatment of contrast-associated acute kidney injury, while also discussing their benefits and drawbacks. ⋯ While patients increasingly utilize artificial intelligence chatbots to acquire information about contrast-associated acute kidney injury, the readability and understandability of the information provided may be low.

The effects of trastuzumab therapy on endothelial functions of breast cancer patients.
Breast cancer is among the highest causes of morbidity and mortality in women. Trastuzumab therapy, which is known to be significantly cardiotoxic, is mainly used to treat patients with resistant breast cancer, including estrogen receptor-positive type. We aimed to show the effects of trastuzumab therapy on endothelial functions of breast cancer patients. ⋯ Our data indicate that trastuzumab therapy could have negative effects on endothelial functions in breast cancer patients.
