[Clinical and evolutionary characteristics of incidental pituitary adenomas: retrospective multicenter study].
Pituitary incidentalomas (PIs) are lesions found incidentally in the pituitary on imaging performed for reasons unrelated to pituitary disease. ⋯ We highlight the high frequency of macroincidentalomas in our series, with visual field defects and hypopituitarism being frequent at diagnosis. Although most non-operated PIs remained stable, there was a high frequency of clinically significant lesions.

[Primary hypophysitis: diagnosis and treatment multicenter study].
Primary hypophysitis (PH) is a rare disease that represents a challenge among differential diagnosis and management. Our aim was to describe clinical characteristics, diagnostic criteria and different treatment outcomes in patients with PH. Multicentric, retrospective study. Clinical presentation, endocrine function, magnetic resonance imaging findings, visual field defects at diagnosis and treatment outcomes were recorded. ⋯ In patients without severe compressive symptoms, we adopted a "wait and see" approach. In patients with uncertain diagnosis of PH or severe compressive symptoms, transsphenoidal surgery was the best option.

Achieving glycemic control in type 2 diabetes(T2D) prevents or delays chronic complications and extends survival. ⋯ of 1329 DMT2 cases included, 60.2% achieved the goal. Regarding pharmacological treatment in diabetes: 5.1% were without medication, 47.5% with 1 drug, 34.5% with 2, 12.9% with 3 or more; in turn, with insulin (alone or combined) 38.1%. According to the questionnaire, 68.4% adhered to treatment and 72.6% reached A1C <7%. Among the non-adherents, 27.4% reached the goal. Achieving the glycemic goal was associated with age = 65 years (p < 0.0001), higher adherence score (p < 0.0001), private health insurance (p < 0.0001), and physical activity (p < 0.02). The worst metabolic control was associated with time of DMT2 diagnosis (p <0.0001), insulin therapy (p < 0.0001) and symptoms of depression (p < 0.002) Conclusions: The youngest and most vulnerable presented lower values for adherence; intervening and intensifying the treatment earlier in them would allow better results.

[Factors associated with the risk of COVID-19 in health-care workers].
Although healthcare personnel are considered a high-risk group for SARS-CoV-2 infection due to their exposure, research on the factors associated with their infection is limited. The objective was to identify factors associated with the acquisition of COVID-19 in healthcare personnel. ⋯ This study allowed us to identify different potentially modifiable factors on which action should be taken to reduce the risk of acquiring COVID-19 by the healthcare personnel.

[Incidence and clinical characteristics of patients with ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction without obstructive coronary disease (MINOCA)].
MINOCA is an acute myocardial infarction without obstructive coronary disease, this definition was recently incorporated into the 4th universal definition of myocardial infarction. However, since it is an unconventional ischemic coronary syndrome in clinical practice, its etiology is very complex to elucidate and requires a differential diagnosis process to rule out other causes of cardiac injury. The objective of this study is to characterize patients with acute myocardial infarction without significant obstructive lesions included in the Argentine Registry of STsegment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (ARGEN-IAM-ST). ⋯ There was no predominance of the female gender as in other series. In-hospital mortality is high despite not having significant coronary disease. It is worth mentioning the low use of dual antiaggregating and statins.
