Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyReproductive outcome after letrozole versus laparoscopic ovarian drilling for clomiphene-resistant polycystic ovary syndrome.
To compare the clinical outcomes of letrozole and laparoscopic ovarian drilling (LOD) in patients with clomiphene-citrate-resistant polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). ⋯ Letrozole seems to be a suitable second-line ovulation-inducing alternative to LOD in women with PCOS who do not conceive with clomiphene citrate.

Psychosexual correlates of persistent postsurgical pain in patients with vulvodynia.
To examine long-term reports of pain and psychologic correlates of pain in women after vestibulectomy. ⋯ The present data suggest that the pathophysiology of localized vulvodynia may be more complex in some women, leading to a suboptimal response to surgical treatment.
