Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyLimited effect of a self-management exercise program added to spa therapy for increasing physical activity in patients with knee osteoarthritis: A quasi-randomized controlled trial.
The efficacy of spa therapy in osteoarthritis (OA) has ever been demonstrated, with a good level of evidence for pain and disability. The effect of a self-management program with spa therapy on physical activity (PA) level has never been demonstrated. ⋯ This study showed the lack of impact of a short self-management program on PA level in addition to 18-day spa therapy for KOA, but both intervention and control groups showed improved PA level.

Multicenter Study Observational StudyBotuloscope: 1-year follow-up of upper limb post-stroke spasticity treated with botulinum toxin.
Botuloscope is a cohort study supported by a French public grant and aiming to evaluate a 1-year treatment of the post-stroke spastic upper limb with botulinum toxin type A (BoNT-A) in terms of individual satisfaction with respect to personalized goals and quality of life. ⋯ This is the first long-term follow-up of BoNT-A treatment for upper limb spasticity involving a large cohort independent of industry. Quality of life was improved by treating upper limb spasticity with BoNT-A, even at 5 years post-stroke. Personalizing objectives of the treatment amplified its efficacy. BoNT-A was a powerful analgesic when pain was spasticity-related. Treating the spastic upper limb also improved balance and gait abilities.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyCrenobalneotherapy (spa therapy) in patients with knee and generalized osteoarthritis: a post-hoc subgroup analysis of a large multicentre randomized trial.
To determine whether the addition of spa therapy to home exercises provides any benefit over exercises and the usual treatment alone in the management of generalised osteoarthritis associated with knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ This study indicates that spa therapy with home exercises may be superior to home exercise alone in the management of patients with GOA associated with knee OA.

Multicenter Study[Multicenter multidisciplinary training program for chronic low back pain: French experience of the Renodos back pain network (Réseau Nord-Pas-de-Calais du DOS)].
To evaluate the short- and long-term effectiveness of the multidisciplinary training program (MTP). To show the benefits which the network organization brings to the treatment of chronic low back pain (CLPB). ⋯ The MTP was effective in reducing back pain intensity, functional disability, symptoms of anxiety and depression and in improving quality of life, flexibility and isometric muscle endurance time. It was possible to propose the MTP to both men and women. A network organization effectively contributes to the harmonization of evaluation methods and brings coherence to the treatment of CLBP patients.
