Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study Clinical Trial
WHO antenatal care randomised trial for the evaluation of a new model of routine antenatal care.
We undertook a multicentre randomised controlled trial that compared the standard model of antenatal care with a new model that emphasises actions known to be effective in improving maternal or neonatal outcomes and has fewer clinic visits. ⋯ Provision of routine antenatal care by the new model seems not to affect maternal and perinatal outcomes. It could be implemented without major resistance from women and providers and may reduce cost.

Multicenter Study Clinical Trial
The Canadian CT Head Rule for patients with minor head injury.
There is much controversy about the use of computed tomography (CT) for patients with minor head injury. We aimed to develop a highly sensitive clinical decision rule for use of CT in patients with minor head injuries. ⋯ We have developed the Canadian CT Head Rule, a highly sensitive decision rule for use of CT. This rule has the potential to significantly standardise and improve the emergency management of patients with minor head injury.
