Clinicopathological features of combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma with sarcomatous change: Case report and literature review.
Combined hepatocellular-cholangiocarcinoma (cHCC-CC) is a rare subtype of primary liver malignancy comprising <1.5% of all primary liver tumors. Sarcomatoid changes in cHCC-CC are even rarer. Due to the rarity of this subtype, its clinicopathological feature is poorly understood. Therefore, here we report 2 tumors. ⋯ In this report, we describe 2 rare cases of cHCC-CC with sarcomatous change, and findings are helpful for the pathologists would like to further identify the clinicopathological features of this rare tumor.

The clinical effect of rehabilitation following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair: A meta-analysis of early versus delayed passive motion.
The argument on the recommended rehabilitation protocol following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair remains to be resolved. So this meta-analysis was presented to evaluate the differences of clinical effects between the 2 distinct rehabilitation protocols after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. ⋯ The meta-analysis suggests that the EPM protocol results in superior ROM recovery after arthroscopic rotator cuff repair but may adversely affect the shoulder function, which should be supported by further research. The healing rate at long-term follow-up is not clearly affected by the type of rehabilitation, but the EPM protocol might result in lower rates of tendon healing in the shoulder with large-sized tendon tears.

Comparison of surgical and conservative treatment of Rockwood type-III acromioclavicular dislocation: A meta-analysis.
There is no consensus on the effects of surgical versus conservative treatment on Rockwood type-III dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint in general orthopedic practice. The objective of this meta-analysis was to compare the clinical outcomes of patients managed surgically and conservatively following type-III acromioclavicular (AC) dislocation. ⋯ In the management of Rockwood type-III AC dislocation, conservative treatment is superior to surgical treatment. Nonoperative treatment results in a lower incidence of ossification of the coracoclavicular ligament and osteolysis of the lateral clavicle compared with operative treatment. However, there was no statistical difference between operative and nonoperative treatment in terms of clinical outcomes.

Salivary matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-8 as a biomarker for periodontitis: A PRISMA-compliant systematic review and meta-analysis.
Salivary matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-8 is currently considered to be one of the most promising biomarkers for early diagnosis of periodontitis, however, several recent studies showed conflicting results. ⋯ Our meta-analysis showed that salivary MMP-8 levels were significantly higher in periodontitis patients compared with healthy controls overall. Due to the heterogeneity and publication bias of included studies, further high quality studies are still needed to verify the conclusion.

Prognostic significance of glypican-3 expression in hepatocellular carcinoma: A meta-analysis.
In recent years, an increasing number of studies has been published analyzing the possible prognostic utility of glypican-3 (GPC3) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but the results are still controversial. The aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate possible association between GPC3 expression and patients' survival. ⋯ Our findings suggested that GPC3 may play a role in cancer invasion and progression and may be related to poor prognosis of HCC. Further mechanical research or multicenter cohort studies are needed to confirm these findings.
