There is controversy regarding the optimal surgical approach for pancreatic lesions in the center of the pancreas. Duodenum-preserving pancreatic cental resection compared with pancreaticoduodenectomy is technically more challenging, but preserves more functional pancreatic tissue. ⋯ The anatomy of the operation is clearer and easier than open surgery because of the magnification effect of laparoscopy. Total laparoscopic central pancreatectomy is safe, effective, feasible for SPN of pancreas, and it should be equally applicable to some other pancreatic cystic neoplasms and neuro-endocrine tumors. Suture is the best measure to prevent postoperative angiorhagia of intraperitoneal cavity.

Observational Study
Presence of diabetic retinopathy is lower in type 2 diabetic patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
To analyze the association between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and the presence of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Total 411 T2DM patients were divided into NAFLD and control groups. NAFLD was diagnosed by ultrasound. ⋯ NAFLD and DR were highly prevalent in T2DM patients. Diabetes duration, SBP, HbA1c, and proteinuria were risk factors for DR in T2DM patients. The presence of DR was lower in T2DM patients with NAFLD, which was mainly due to their shorter diabetes duration.

Case Reports
Delirium induced by tigecycline treatment for Acinetobacter baumannii infection: A case report.
Tigecycline is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent structurally belong to tetracyclines and covers against many multidrug-resistant organisms. Arising clinical cases reporting its adverse drug reactions have emerged alongside with the increasing off label use globally. By literature review, delirium caused by tigecycline has not been reported yet. We present what we believe to be the first case of tigecycline-induced delirium. ⋯ Clinicians should be aware of this potential adverse effect of tigecycline. We recommend that clinicians monitor patients for signs and symptoms of delirium during treatment with tigecycline.

Case Reports
Uterine rupture in patients with a history of laparoscopy or hysteroscopy procedures: Three case reports.
Uterine rupture is a rare incidence but can lead to catastrophic maternal and fetal consequences. We still need to place a high premium on these cases. ⋯ It must be emphasized that pregnant women with a history of such surgeries should be aware of uterine rupture during pregnancy.

Although adjuvant chemotherapy has been shown to reduce relapse and prolong survival after surgery, it is still unclear which adjuvant chemotherapy regimen will be favorable over the all adjuvant treatments evaluated for patients with resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. ⋯ This network meta-analysis will systematically provide suggestions to select optimum adjuvant treatment for clinical practice in the future.PROSPERO registration number: CRD42019123907 (https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/PROSPERO/#searchadvanced).
