Randomized Controlled Trial
Open reduction and plate fixation versus sling in treatment of mid-shaft fractures of clavicle: A prospective randomized study protocol.
For this prospective randomized clinical trial, it is implemented for the comparison of the outcomes of open reduction and internal fixation versus the sling treatment for mid-shaft clavicle fractures. ⋯ It was hypothesized that in the case of clavicular comminuted mid-shaft fracture, for the open reduction and internal fixation, its nonunion rate was lower and satisfaction rate was higher, although there were a variety of complications.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effects of progressive neuromuscular stabilization exercise on the support surface on patients with high obesity with lumbar instability: A double-blinded randomized controlled trial.
Intensive neuromuscular stabilization exercise on highly obese patients with low back pain results in positive effects of body fat decline and prevention of complications. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of progressive neuromuscular stabilization exercise on unstable surface on pain, motor function, psychosocial factors, balance, and abdominal contraction with highly obese patients with lumbar instability. ⋯ Progressive neuromuscular stabilization exercise program on unstable surfaces demonstrated to be an effective and clinically useful method to decrease pain level, increase motor function, balance, and transverse abdominis muscle thickness in contraction and contraction rate for highly obese patients with lumbar instability.

Meta Analysis
Music-based intervention to reduce aggressive behavior in children and adolescents: A meta-analysis.
We aimed to evaluate the effect of music-based intervention on the aggressive behavior in children and adolescents, and made a comparison of music medicine and music therapy. ⋯ Music-based intervention seemed to be more efficacious for reducing aggression and increasing self-control in children and adolescents, especially music therapy.

We compared the intubation skills obtained by novice doctors following training using 3 instruments, the conventional Macintosh laryngoscope (Mac) and 2 types of indirect video-laryngoscopes (McGrathTM-MAC: McGrath (McG) and AirwayScope (AWS)), to determine the most appropriate instrument for novice doctors to acquire intubation skills, especially focusing on visual confirmation of vocal cords, during a 3-day intensive manikin training program. ⋯ The 2 types of indirect video-laryngoscopes (McGRATH and AirwayScope) were demonstrated to be suitable instruments for novice doctors to achieve higher POGO scores in a 3-day intensive ETI training.

Gastric cancer (GC) has high incidence and mortality worldwide, and peritoneal metastasis is a primary cause of mortality in patients. Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is a feasible and effective treatment. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapies have been combined with HIPEC for certain therapeutic advantages, but there is a lacking of evidence of evidence-based medicine. Therefore, we provide a protocol to evaluate the efficacy and safety of TCM therapies combined with HIPEC in the treatment for peritoneal metastasis of GC. ⋯ INPLASY2020120048.
