To study the effect of continuous irrigation of rotating nickel-titanium instrument with several common clinical fluids on the diameter, breaking length and breaking position of nickel-titanium instrument, so as to provide some reference and theoretical basis for clinical operation and instrument improvement. A standardized curved root canal model was established, and ProTaper Universal (PTU) F1 instrument was selected for root canal preparation. The nickel-titanium F1 instrument was flushed with distilled water, 0.9% NaCl, 0.2% chlorhexidine, 1% sodium hypochlorite and 5% sodium hypochlorite, and the diameter, length and position of the instrument before and after breakage were recorded. ⋯ The closer to the apical foramen was, the higher the breaking frequency of instruments was. However, only 5% sodium hypochlorite can affect the diameter of rotary nickel-titanium instruments, and may lead to early breakage of the instrument, indicating that the use of disinfectants, except 5% sodium hypochlorite, cannot reduce breakage resistance of nickel-titanium instrument compared with distilled water flushing. Furthermore, 5% hypochlorite could not be recommended for irrigation in clinical practice.

At present, laser is regarded as an effective treatment for macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion. With the breakthrough of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs in ophthalmology clinical research, the intravitreal injection of ranibizumab is widely applied, but both methods have their limitations, so some clinical studies have combined and applied them together. However, the clinical results are inconsistent and controversial, and there is no relevant system evaluation for the laser combined with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab for treatment of macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion now. ⋯ Laser combined with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab for treatment of macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion has good effect, and the research has provided reliable evidence for the use of clinical treatment of the laser combined with intravitreal injection of ranibizumab for treatment of macular edema secondary to branch retinal vein occlusion.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the most common arrhythmias, and is high relative to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. AF-related complications and treatment costs bring about huge health burden, therefore the prevention recurrence of AF is imperative. "Upstream therapy" refers to the use of non-antiarrhythmic drugs (non-AADs) that modify the atrial substrate or target-specific mechanisms of AF to prevent the occurrence or recurrence of the arrhythmia. RAAS Blockers, aldosterone receptor antagonists and statins have an effect on preventing recurrence of atrial fibrillation. This protocol is designed for systematic review and network meta-analysis, which will assess comparative effects and safety of various non-antiarrhythmic drugs in preventing recurrence of atrial fibrillation. ⋯ INPLASY202090004.

To investigate whether closed-loop systems under bispectral index anesthesia depth monitoring can reduce the intraoperative propofol dosage. ⋯ Bispectral index monitoring of propofol closed-loop target-controlled infusion system can reduce the amount of propofol, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions such as hypertensive or hypotension and postoperative cognitive dysfunction.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Biceps tenotomy versus tenodesis for lesions of the long head of the biceps tendon: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
Biceps tenotomy and biceps tenodesis are 2 most common surgical procedures for long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) pathology, but debate still exists regarding the choice of treatment. This meta-analysis was conducted to compare clinical results between tenotomy and tenodesis for the treatment of lesions of LHBT. It was hypothesized that there is no difference in outcomes of tenotomy and tenodesis for lesions of LHBT. ⋯ For the treatment of LHBT lesions, with the exception of constant score, there was no significant benefit of tenodesis over tenotomy. Although tenotomy is affected by a higher risk of Popeye sign, it is more timesaving.
