When developing a new medical device, it is essential to assess the usability of such a device through various stakeholders. This study assessed the usability of pain medical devices through a Delphi survey administered to physiatrists and physiotherapists. A Delphi survey was conducted on the problems and improvements in hardware and software for a panel consisting of 10 physiatrists and 10 physiotherapists. ⋯ To date, analysis has not been conducted by dividing the focus of various stakeholders using pain medical devices. The difference in view of the usability of these 2 stakeholder groups should be considered when improving the hardware or software of pain medical devices in the future. Further research is warranted to investigate other stakeholders such as patients and device developers to improve the devices.

Despite the impact of leg muscle strength on lower extremity motor performance-including walking and sit-to-stand transfer-it remains difficult to predict the relationship between bilateral leg muscle strength and lower extremity performance. Therefore, this study was designed to predict lower extremity function through the differential modeling of logarithmic and linear regression, based on knee extension strength. The study included 121 individuals living in the same community. ⋯ For walking time estimation in the linear model, the coefficient value of knee extension strength was larger on the strong than on the weak side; however, the AIC value for the logarithmic model was lower than that for the linear model regarding TUG performance time. In the logarithmic model's TUG performance time estimation, the coefficient value of knee extension strength was larger on the weak than on the strong side. In conclusion, our study demonstrated different models reflecting the relationship between both legs' strengths and lower extremity performance, including the walking and TUG performance times.

Computed tomography features of COVID-19 in children: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
There are few reports on the chest computed tomography (CT) imaging features of children with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), and most reports involve small sample sizes. ⋯ The lung CT results of children with COVID-19 are usually normal or slightly atypical. The lung lesions of COVID-19 pediatric patients mostly involve both lungs or multiple lobes, and the common manifestations are patchy shadows, ground-glass opacities, consolidation, partial air bronchogram signs, nodules, and halo signs; white lung, pleural effusion, and paving stone signs are rare. Therefore, chest CT has limited value as a screening tool for children with COVID-19 and can only be used as an auxiliary assessment tool.

Balanced crystalloids versus saline in critically ill patients: The PRISMA study of a meta-analysis.
To compare the safety of balanced crystalloids and saline among critically ill patients in intensive care unit (ICU). ⋯ When compared with saline, balanced crystalloids could not reduce the risk of MAKE30, 30-day mortality, ICU mortality and in-hospital mortality, could not reduce the length of ICU stay, length of hospital stay, the level of creatinine highest before discharge and the needs for RRT among critical ill children and adults. Therefore, it was still too early for balanced crystalloids to replace normal saline among critical ill patients.

Glaucoma is the second most blinding eye disease in the world. Currently, lowering the intraocular pressure through various methods is the main treatment of glaucoma. Acupuncture has been effectively and safely used in the treatment of glaucoma. However, the evidence for the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of glaucoma is controversial, leading to inconsistent findings from systematic evaluations at abroad and home. Therefore, this protocol aims to provide a multivariate evaluation on the quality of evidences from current systematic reviews (SRs) and/or meta-analyzes (MAs) of acupuncture in the treatment of glaucoma, and literature quality, thus providing an intuitive and reliable evidence synthesis and basis for clinical decision making. ⋯ We would like to provide a visual and scientific approach for clinical decision making of acupuncture treatment of glaucoma through a accessible and useful assessment of systematic reviews.
