The coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak has impacted many educational institutions by imposing restrictions on offline or in-person lessons. Many students were stressed by "the loss of everyday life" due to the pandemic, and it is important to examine the impact of this loss on adolescents' mental health. This study aimed to investigate the factors that affect students' mental health during the pandemic from various perspectives. ⋯ The students who appreciated interacting with others experienced more stress during the lockdown. To reduce students' stress on online days, teachers should devise a lecture style with frequent breaks and introduce active learning. The findings of this study will contribute to addressing students' low mental health and reducing their stress during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.

Ovarian cancer during pregnancy is a rare event. Little is known about the treatment of this condition due to lack of high level evidence. Therefore, we performed a protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of platinum-based chemotherapy for the treatment of ovarian cancer during pregnancy. ⋯ This paper will provide high-quality synthesis to assess the efficacy and safety of platinum-based chemotherapy for ovarian cancer in pregnancy.

Self-gravitation traction is 1 of the most popular treatments for lumbar disc herniation (LDH). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the self-gravitation traction device in the treatment of LDH and to confirm its positive treatment effect. ⋯ Once the trial is completed, we will publish the study in journals in both Chinese and English to promote the dissemination and use of the results. In addition, we also plan to promote the research results at various academic conferences both domestically and internationally.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks as the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a key constituent of immune cells in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and are significantly associated with patient outcomes. Our study aimed to construct a Treg-associated signature to predict the prognosis of CRC patients. ⋯ Further analysis exhibited that more tumor-suppressing immune cells and higher immune checkpoint genes were enriched in CRC patients with high-risk scores. Moreover, immunohistochemistry analysis validated that the genes in the prognostic model were significantly elevated in CRC tissues. We were the first to construct a prognostic signature for CRC based on TrAGs and further revealed that the poor prognosis of patients was mainly attributed to the tumor-suppressing microenvironment and upregulated immune checkpoint genes in tumor tissues.

Supplemental parenteral nutrition improves patient outcomes after esophageal cancer surgery: A single-center randomized controlled study.
We investigated the effect of supplemental parenteral nutrition comprising parenteral nutrition (PN) and enteral nutrition (EN) on the postoperative nutritional status, immune function, and inflammatory response of patients with esophageal cancer. ⋯ Supplemental parenteral nutrition for perioperative esophageal cancer patients can maintain the optimal nutritional status, improve immune function, and reduce the inflammatory stress response.
