Meta Analysis
A meta-analysis of adjuvant EGFR-TKIs for patients with EGFR mutation of resected non-small cell lung cancer.
The role of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKIs) in improving the prognostic outcome of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cases harboring EGFR mutation following radical surgery is still controversial. This work focused on comparing EGFR-TKIs and adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) or placebo in treating NSCLC cases, specifically on those with EGFR-mutant, being in the stage of IB-IIIA and possibly gained benefits from the above treatment after radical resection. ⋯ For NSCLC cases who had EGFR mutations and surgery, adjuvant EGFR-TKI combined with chemotherapy achieved superior effect over chemotherapy or placebo with reference to DFS and may prolong the OS up to some extent.

Risk assessment before treatment is important for gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), which will determine the priority of surgery or preoperative treatment. The prognostic nutritional index (PNI) is an integrated parameter consisting of serum albumin and lymphocyte count. Immunonutritional status defined in this manner is well-known to be closely linked to the prognosis of several other cancers. Nevertheless, the prognostic value of PNI specifically in GISTs has not been well-established. This study aimed to verify the prognostic role of PNI in patients with GISTs. ⋯ Elevated pretreatment PNI may be a useful indicator for assessing risk of recurrence in patients from China with GISTs. Studies in other countries and regions are needed to further verify the prognostic value of PNI in GISTs.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effects of esketamine on analgesia and postpartum depression after cesarean section: A randomized, double-blinded controlled trial.
The aim of this randomized double-blind placebo controlled clinical trial was to investigate the effects of different doses of esketamine combined with sufentanil for postoperative intravenous controlled analgesia after cesarean section and the incidence of postpartum depression. ⋯ Esketamine combined with sufentanil used for patient controlled intravenous analgesia after elective cesarean section can reduce the consumption of sufentanil, improve postoperative analgesia, decrease the incidence of PPD at 1 week and 6 weeks and postoperative nausea and vomiting.

Pulmonary blastoma is an extremely rare and highly aggressive tumor. Only a few hundred cases of pulmonary blastoma have been reported. In other cases, a definitive diagnosis is often made through surgical resection. The use of preoperative histopathological sampling in diagnosing was of limited value because of the variety of pulmonary blastoma histology. And there was no literature that the first biopsy was attempted with medical thoracoscopy for diagnosis. ⋯ Medical thoracoscopy is useful for the diagnosis of indeterminate pleural effusion; however, caution is needed when confirming rare malignancies, such as pulmonary blastoma. Although surgical resection is the treatment of choice, appropriate adjuvant chemotherapy to improve the prognosis may be necessary if there is pleural metastasis.

The coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak has impacted many educational institutions by imposing restrictions on offline or in-person lessons. Many students were stressed by "the loss of everyday life" due to the pandemic, and it is important to examine the impact of this loss on adolescents' mental health. This study aimed to investigate the factors that affect students' mental health during the pandemic from various perspectives. ⋯ The students who appreciated interacting with others experienced more stress during the lockdown. To reduce students' stress on online days, teachers should devise a lecture style with frequent breaks and introduce active learning. The findings of this study will contribute to addressing students' low mental health and reducing their stress during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.
