Review Meta Analysis
A review and meta-analysis of the survival rate of adult with osteonecrosis of the femoral head treated with transtrochanteric rotational osteotomy.
Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a progressive disease, and transtrochanteric rotational osteotomy (TRO) is a promising option to treat hip preservation. Compared with outcomes of non-Asian patients, those of Asian patients are different. Once ONFH has progressed to the stage of collapse, total hip arthroplasty (THA) is an unavoidable surgical procedure. However, patients treated with TRO still have a certain rate of femoral head collapse. A meta-analysis was done to comprehensively understand the outcome of TRO surgery for ONFH, in which conversion to THA was used as an endpoint event or the survival rate of patients with ONFH after TRO surgery as an indicator. ⋯ The application of TRO surgery in ONFH can effectively relieve patients' symptoms and they enjoy n a high survival rate, especially for Asian patients. This makes it a promising surgical technique.

Review Case Reports
Ovarian clear cell cancer associated with Trousseau syndrome: A case report and literature review.
Trousseau syndrome is known as patients with tumors have a combination of multiple thrombi with systemic organ infarction. The incidence of ovarian clear cell cancer associated with Trousseau syndrome is relatively low. We report the case of a 41-year-old woman diagnosed with ovarian clear cell cancer with deep vein thrombosis and cerebral infarction who had a poor prognosis. ⋯ Gynecologists should be aware of the need for clinical suspicion of the risk of thrombosis during the treatment period of ovarian cancer and make careful decisions.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related degenerative change of the central nervous system, the cause of which remains unclear. Recent studies have found that brain inflammation caused by microbial infections may be one of the etiologies of AD, and antibiotics as novel treatments may be beneficial for delaying the development of AD. Several prospective studies have investigated the effects of different antibiotics on Alzheimer's disease. However, no systematic review or meta-analysis has evaluated the benefits and safety of antibiotics in AD patients. ⋯ The results of this analysis will provide evidence to evaluate the benefits and safety of antibiotics in the treatment of AD.

The accuracy of 3-dimensional (3D) optical devices for facial soft-tissue measurement is essential to the success of clinical treatment in stomatology. The aim of the present systematic review was to summarize the accuracy of 3D optical devices used for facial soft-tissue assessment in stomatology. ⋯ Overall, the 3D optical devices demonstrated excellent accuracy and reliability for facial soft-tissue measurement in stomatology. red, green, blue-depth camera can collect accurate static and dynamic 3D facial scans with low cost and high measurement accuracy. Practical needs and availability of resources should be considered when these devices are used in clinical settings.

Review Case Reports
Resolution of preeclampsia after selective termination in discordant twins: A case report and literature review.
Preeclampsia is a major cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Growth discordance is associated with an increased risk of preeclampsia in twin pregnancies. The management of preeclampsia combined with discordant twins is difficult and controversial because of severe maternal conditions and severe growth restriction in 1 twin. ⋯ Delivery of both fetus is not the only choice for the management for twin pregnancy with severe preeclampsia and discordant twins. Selective termination of the fetus with poor prognosis could be a reasonable treatment choice in carefully selected cases.
