To fully understand the clinical features and prognosis of Glioblastoma (GBM), we extracted the data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database and performed a series of analyses. ⋯ Older patients diagnosed with GBM have worse survival, and patients with glioma of higher grades have a shorter lifespan. Age, grade, surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy were independent prognostic factors for patients with GBM.

Proteomics and genomics of a monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma: An extremely rare case report and short review of literature.
Monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma, formerly known as enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma, is an extremely rare, aggressive peripheral extranodal T-cell lymphoma, that is infrequent in native European and Caucasian populations. The current study presents the clinicopathological features, diagnostic approach, and clinical outcomes of this rare entity of lymphoma and highlights the importance of the early diagnosis of monomorphic epitheliotropic intestinal T-cell lymphoma (MEITL). ⋯ The current report highlights the importance of early diagnosis of MEITL owing to its poor prognosis and presents histopathological features that help distinguish MEITL from inflammatory bowel diseases and less aggressive T-cell lymphomas.

At present, apart from lung transplantation, no drugs can effectively treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Therefore, it is imperative to explore new drugs to control or treat it. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) injections have been widely used in the field of IPF, but there is no comparison of their efficacy in the assisted improvement of IPF. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to network meta-analyze the efficacy and safety of 4 kinds of commonly used TCM injections assisted by conventional treatment to improve the disease. ⋯ The four TCM injections combined with conventional treatment can effectively improve the clinical indicators of patients with IPF, and the improvement effect of Danhong injection was more obvious.

There are 15 million new cases of stroke every year in the world, 65% of which have dysuria in the early stage of stroke, which seriously affects the quality of life of stroke patients. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the results of randomized controlled trials to determine whether acupuncture can improve the residual urine volume of the bladder in middle age patients with urinary retention post-stroke. ⋯ The residual urine volume of bladder will be the primary outcome measure, whereas the Clinical efficiency will be the secondary outcomes. Side effects and adverse events will be included as safety evaluations. To ensure the quality of the systematic evaluation, study selection, data extraction, and quality assessment will be independently performed by two authors, whereas a third author will resolve any disagreement.
