Randomized Controlled Trial
The efficacy of modified HuangLian JieDu decoction for early enteral nutrition in patients with sepsis: A randomized controlled study.
This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of modified HuangLian JieDu decoction (MHLJDD) as a supplementary medication for early enteral nutrition in septic patients. ⋯ MHLJDD can shorten the MV and ICU stay of septic patients.

Primary meningeal central nervous system lymphoma: A case report and literature review.
Primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) is a rare extranodal non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and isolated meningeal PCNSL, without evidence of parenchymal involvement, is even less common, occurring in only 10% to 15% of cases. ⋯ Cases of PCNSL involving only the meninges are rare. Multimodal analysis of the CSF comprises an important component of the diagnostic work-up for patients with primary meningeal central nervous system lymphoma.

Efficacy and safety of video laryngoscope in indwelling gastric tube in severe coma patients: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
We designed this systematic review and meta-analysis protocol to provide new medical evidence for clinical management by comparing the prognostic outcomes of visual laryngoscopy with those of conventional blinded insertion methods. ⋯ The results of our review will be reported strictly following the PRISMA criteria and the review will add to the existing literature by showing compelling evidence and improved guidance in clinic settings.

Progranulin (PGRN), endothelial cell-specific molecule-1, clusterin (CLU), and human epididymis protein 4 (HE-4) are novel proteins reported to have diagnostic and prognostic potential in lung cancer. Here, we aimed to identify the markers with high sensitivity and specificity in distinguishing malignant pleural fluids from other pleural fluids. ⋯ HE-4 having high sensitivity and specificity can be a potential diagnostic marker in distinguishing between malignant and benign effusions, and these findings can constitute a basis for future research.

Vascular involvement manifests as aneurysms, stenosis, and arteriovenous malformations in patients with type I neurofibromatosis (NF-I). Aneurysms are rare; however, the renal artery is the most common site. Herein, we report a rare case of stent graft placement in an anterior tibial artery (ATA) pseudoaneurysm in a patient with NF-I. ⋯ Stent graft placement should be considered as another option for endovascular treatment in patients in whom coil embolization or surgery cannot be performed.
