Meta Analysis
Efficacy and safety of extracorporeal shock wave on low back pain: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) is a relatively new type of treatment for many musculoskeletal disorders. However, ESWT for low back pain remains controversial as the pain relieve benefit is questionable. We performed this systematic review and meta-analysis to explore the effectiveness and safety of ESWT interventions on pain and disability in patients with low back pain (LBP). ⋯ ESWT is effective in alleviating pain and improving the functional outcomes for patients with LBP. However, there remains a lack of high-level evidence to verify their effectiveness and safety and support their clinical application.

Multicenter Study Observational Study
Comparative study of fractional flow reserve and diastolic pressure ratio using a guidewire with a sensor for measuring intravascular pressure.
This study aimed to evaluate the correlation and diagnostic agreement between diastolic pressure ratio (dPR) and fractional flow reserve (FFR) in a Japanese real-world setting. ⋯ We found that dPR was highly correlated with FFR, and diagnostic discordance was observed in 11% of the lesions. Several factors, including lesion location and medication for hyperemia, may cause the diagnostic discordance between dPR and FFR.

Review Case Reports
A case report of epileptic seizures caused by Rosai Dorfman disease followed by a literature review.
Rosai Dorfman disease is a rare benign histiocytoproliferative disorder that occurs in the intracranial area, which occurrs typically in lymph nodes. Extrapnodal Rosai Dorfman disease rarely develops in the central nervous system and is often a focal lesion based on the dura. Based on imaging and clinical symptoms, RDD may be misdiagnosed as meningioma, and some lesions can also occur in the brain parenchyma. In the case of benign disease, the final diagnosis is made by pathological tissue diagnosis. For chronic diseases, progression may be chronic or remitting and relapsing. ⋯ Basing on studying and summarizing relevant literatures, RDD is described in the report in terms of its diagnosis, pathology, treatment, and clinical outcome, in order to improve the diagnosis and identification of intracranial RDD by physicians.

The Collaborative Care model is a systematic strategy for treating behavioral health conditions in primary care through the integration of care managers and psychiatric consultants. Several randomized controlled trials have demonstrated that Collaborative Care increases access to mental health care and is more effective and cost efficient than the current standard of care for treating common mental illnesses. Large healthcare systems and organizations have begun to adopt Collaborative Care initiatives and are seeing improved treatment outcomes and provider and patient satisfaction. ⋯ In addition, this paper discusses its ability to adapt to specific patient populations, such as geriatrics, students, substance use, and women with perinatal depression, as well as the significance of measurement-based care and mental health screening in achieving improved clinical outcomes. Current data suggests that Collaborative Care may significantly improve patient outcomes and time-to-treatment in all reviewed settings, and successfully adapts to special patient populations. Despite the high upfront implementation burden of launching a Collaborative Care model program, these costs are generally offset by long term healthcare savings.

Lipidomics has shaped our knowledge of how lipids play a central role in cardiovascular diseases (CVD), whereas there is a lack of a summary of existing research findings. This study performed a bibliometric analysis of lipidomics research in cardiovascular medicine to reveal the core countries, institutions, key researchers, important references, major journals, research hotspots and frontiers in this field. From 2012 to 2021, a total of 761 articles were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection database. ⋯ Keyword co-occurrence analysis indicated that coronary heart disease, mass spectrometry, risk, fatty acid, and insulin resistance have become hot topics in this field and keyword burst detection suggests that metabolomics, activation, liver, low density lipoprotein are the frontiers of research in recent years. Collectively, lipidomics in CVD is still in its infancy with a steady increase yearly. More in-depth studies in this area are warranted in the future.
