The risks of hematological toxicities of nivolumab in cancer patients: A PRISMA-compliant meta-analysis.
Nivolumab is the human programmed cell death-1 (PD-1)-blocking antibody showing significant effect in many refractory cancers. However, little is known about its risks of hematological toxicities, rare but clinically serious and potentially life-threatening adverse events. We want to explore whether nivolumab can increase the risks of hematological toxicities compared with other immunotherapy or chemotherapy drugs. ⋯ The PD-1 inhibitor-nivolumab did not increase the risk of anemia, neutropenia and leukopenia. It may enhance awareness about lower risks of hematological toxicities when choosing nivolumab as PD-1 inhibitor among clinicians.

Atherosclerosis remains a predominant cause of ischemic stroke (IS). Four miRNA polymorphisms associated with arteriosclerosis mechanism were meta-analyzed to explore whether they had predictive significance for IS. ⋯ This Meta-analysis showed that all 4 single nucleotide polymorphisms were associated with the risk of IS or SAO, even though the overall and subgroup analyses were not entirely consistent.

Spine trauma, vertebral metastases, and osteoporosis (SVO) can result in serious health problems. If the diagnosis of SVO is delayed, the prognosis may be deteriorated. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is an essential method for minimizing the diagnostic errors associated with SVO. research achievements (RAs) of SVO on AI are required as a result of the greatest number of studies on AI solutions reported. The study aimed to: classify article themes using visualizations, illustrate the characteristics of SVO on AI recently, compare RAs of SVO on AI between entities (e.g., countries, institutes, departments, and authors), and determine whether the mean citations of keywords can be used to predict article citations. ⋯ A breakthrough was achieved by displaying the characteristics of T31SVOAI using the CJAL score, the Y-index, and the chord diagram. Weighted keywords can be used to predict article citations. The five visualizations employed in this study may be used in future bibliographical studies.

Several studies showed that LncRNA LOXL1 antisense RNA 1 (LOXL1-AS1) is overexpressed in a variety of cancers and plays a role as an oncogene in cancer. The present meta-analysis aims to elucidate the relationship between LOXL1-AS1 expression and prognosis and clinicopathological features among cancer patients. ⋯ High expression of LOXL1-AS1 in some cancers predicts shorter overall survival, distant metastasis, and lymph node metastasis. LOXL1-AS1 shows great promise as a prognostic biomarker in cancer patients.

The clinical prognostic value of lncRNA LINC00473 in cancer patients: A meta-analysis.
LINC00473 is a promising long non-coding RNA. There is increasing evidence that SNHG7 is abnormally expressed in various tumors and is associated with cancer prognosis. However, identification of the effect of long non-coding RNA LINC00473 in tumors remains necessary. ⋯ Our results of this meta-analysis demonstrated that high LINC00473 expression may become a potential target for predicting prognosis of human cancers.
