Global trends and hotspots in the application of platelet-rich plasma in knee osteoarthritis: A bibliometric analysis from 2008 to 2022.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy holds great promise in improving knee cartilage repair. This bibliometric analysis aimed to explore the research landscape in the application of PRP for knee osteoarthritis (KOA) over the last 15 years. All articles investigating PRP in the application of KOA were retrieved from the web of science core collection. ⋯ Taipei Medical University is the most prolific institution and Shahid Beheshti University Medical Sciences in Iran the fastest-rising institution. The keywords "Hyaluronic Acid," "cartilage," "growth factors," "mesenchymal stem cells," "intra-articular injection," "pain," "inflammation," "double-blind," "management," "placebo," "stromal cells," "rheumatoid arthritis," and "pathology" appeared most frequently. "Exercise," "volume," and "physical-activity" are the latest hot topics. Future trends in this field include the standardization of injection components, injection sites, and injection methods, the modulation of useful or harmful growth factor receptor expression, sports management, and the validation of contraindications to PRP.

Risk factors for acute ischemic stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
To investigate the risk factors for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. a total of 120 T2DM patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, from between January 2021 to June 2022, were randomly selected and divided into T2DM and T2DM + AIS groups based on the presence or absence of a history of AIS. Blood samples were collected by fasting, 24 hours after admission, and levels of serum uric acid (UA), serum homocysteine (Hcy), serum creatinine (SCR), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), serum total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), and lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) were measured. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed for the significantly associated indicators to analyze the risk factors for AIS, and finally ROC curve analysis was carried out to explore the predictive value of the above risk factors for AIS in T2DM patients. the levels of FBG, Hcy, Hs-CRP and Lp-PLA2 were significantly higher in the T2DM + AIS group than those in T2DM group (P < .05). ⋯ ROC curve analysis showed that plasma hs-CRP and Lp-PLA2 showed good performance to predict AIS occurrence in T2DM patients (AUC = 0.749, 95% CI: 0.663, 0.835; and 0.791, 95% CI: 0.712, 0.870), with a sensitivity of 58.1% and 83.9%, and a specificity of 84.5% and 60.3%, respectively. The optimal concentration cutoff points of hs-CRP and Lp-PLA2 were 3.38 mg/L and 204.2 ng/mL. our findings suggested that plasma hs-CRP and Lp-PLA2 were independent risk factors for developing AIS in T2DM patients. Hs-CRP and Lp-PLA2 are potential biomarker for risk for AIS in patients with T2DM.

Effectiveness and safety of umbilical cord milking in premature infants: A randomized controlled trial.
Both UCM and DCC are used to treat preterm infants, but there is no uniform standard for the length of UCM. The aim of this work was to explore the effectiveness and safety of different umbilical cord milking (UCM) lengths versus delayed cord clamping (DCC). ⋯ A UCM of 20 or 30 cm is a safe, effective operation for preterm infants and could improve blood pressure and hemoglobin levels and reduce anemia.

Rehabilitation nursing after lower limb fracture: Preventing deep vein thrombosis and enhancing quality of life.
This study aimed to assess the preventive role of rehabilitation nursing in the formation of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in the lower limbs after fracture and its effect on the patient's quality of life. Ninety patients with lower limb fractures were randomly divided into a study group (n = 45) and a control group (n = 45). Patients in the control group received routine care postoperatively, whereas patients in the study group received rehabilitation nursing intervention on the same postoperative day. ⋯ The SF-36 scores of both groups increased, but the increase in SF-36 scores in the study group was more significant (P < .001). The satisfaction level of the patients in the study group with nursing services was higher than that of the control group (P = .004). Coagulation indicators can be effectively adjusted and the occurrence of postoperative complications can be reduced in patients undergoing spine fracture surgery such as DVT via standardized rehabilitation care, thereby improving patients' quality of life and nursing conditions.

Awake craniotomy is the gold standard for the resection of brain lesions near eloquent areas. For the commonly used asleep-awake-asleep technique, the patient must be awake and fully cooperative as soon as possible after discontinuation of anesthetics. A shorter emergence time is essential to decrease the likelihood of adverse events. ⋯ No association between various measures of skeletal muscle mass and time-to-awake was observed, and no interaction between skeletal muscle mass and BMI was found (all P > .05). Likewise, patients with a high BMI and low skeletal muscle mass (indicating an increased proportion of fat tissue) did not have a prolonged time-to-awake. Skeletal muscle mass did not predict time-to-awake in patients undergoing awake craniotomy, neither in isolation nor in combination with a high BMI.
