We used bibliometric methods to evaluate publications on the role of nutrition in sarcopenic obesity and analyzed the current situation and developmental trends over the past 2 decades. ⋯ This is the first bibliometric study of the role of nutrition in sarcopenic obesity. This study systematically summarizes the research hotspots and development directions in this field, and provides a reference for scholars studying the role of nutrition in sarcopenic obesity.

To investigate the causal relationship between breast cancer and frozen shoulder using a Mendelian randomization (MR) approach. Pooled data from a large-scale genome-wide association study were used. Genetic loci that were independent of each other and associated with breast cancer and frozen shoulder in populations of European ancestry were selected as instrumental variables. ⋯ Inverse variance weighting results showed an OR (95% CI) of 1.02 (1.00-1.04), P = .048, indicating that breast cancer is a risk factor for a frozen shoulder. And the test revealed no heterogeneity and pleiotropy, and the sensitivity analysis also showed robust results. In this study, genetic data were analyzed and explored using two-sample MR analysis, and the results showed that the incidence of frozen shoulder was higher in breast cancer patients, suggesting that screening for frozen shoulder in breast cancer patients should be increased.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common malignant liver tumor. It is an aggressive disease with high mortality rate. In this study, we investigated a new prognosis-related gene index (PRGI) that can predict the survival and efficacy of immunotherapy in patients with HCC. ⋯ Eight genes were identified to construct the PRGI. PRGI can predict the infiltration of immune cells into the tumor microenvironment of HCC and the response to immunotherapy. PRGI can accurately predict the survival rate of patients with HCC, reflect the immune microenvironment, and predict the efficacy of immunotherapy.

Leukemia is an abnormal proliferation of white blood cells in the bone marrow, resulting in a large accumulation of abnormal leukemia cells in the blood and bone marrow. Hemorrhoids are dilated and swollen veins in the rectum or anal area. However, the relationship between CALM3 and leukemia and hemorrhoids remains unclear. ⋯ WB experiment verified the result. CALM3 expression is low in leukemia, and the lower the expression is, the worse the prognosis is. CALM3 is highly expressed in hemorrhoids, and the higher the expression, the worse the prognosis.

Goji berries (Lycium barbarum L) are herbal medicine that have a long history of use and multiple pharmacological activities. In this study, we investigated the potential therapeutic effects of Goji berries on atherosclerosis (AS) using network pharmacology and molecular docking. ⋯ This study demonstrates that network pharmacology and molecular docking analyses contribute to a better understanding of Goji berries active compounds and targets as potential therapeutic drugs for treating AS.
