Endotracheal administration for intraoperative acute massive pulmonary embolism during laparoscopic hepatectomy: A case report.
Acute pulmonary embolism (APE) during an operation is a very urgent occurrence, especially when the patient with hemodynamic instability. Generally, drugs are administered intravenously; however, these drugs have little effects under most circumstances. We present a case of successful resuscitation in a patient with endotracheal administration. ⋯ Intravenous administration may not the best appropriate way of administration when patients occurred APE. Endotracheal administration as a unique method may work wonders and has the value of research and application.

Effectiveness of music therapy with relaxation technique on stress management as measured by perceived stress scale.
Living in Nigerian environment is enough stress. In our time, many students could not cope with the stress of school environment like ours and others are still suffering from different health problems attributed to stress. Based on this, we investigated the effect of music therapy with relaxation technique on stress management among university students in southeastern Nigeria. ⋯ The findings of this study suggest that the efficacy of music therapy with relaxation technique for improving the students' stress management can be consistent at follow-up. Hence, music therapists, counsellors and psychotherapists should continue to investigate the beneficial effects of music therapy with relaxation on stress management among university students in every part of the world.

Hemolytic jaundice induced by pharmacological dose ascorbic acid in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency: A case report.
Hemolysis induced by high dose ascorbic acid (AA) in patients with G6PD deficiency has been reported, but is rare. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of a male with G6PD deficiency, coexpressed with cholecystolithiasis and cholecystitis, who developed extreme hemolysis and hyperbilirubinemia after receiving pharmacological doses ascorbic acid infusion. ⋯ Clinicians should bear in mind the possibility that vitamin C exposure may result in hemolysis in patients with G6PD deficiency, especially in those with known severe disease.

Effect of educational interventions on health in childhood: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The purpose of this study was to summarize the evidences from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the effects of educational interventions in overweight/obesity childhood by using meta-analytic approach. ⋯ The study findings elucidate the positive effects of educational interventions on BMI, BMI z-score, waist circumference, triceps skinfold, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, and triglyceride.
