Retrospective cohort study. ⋯ The new MRI-based grading system for DLSA has good interrater reliability, although the strength of agreement varies somewhat. The new grading system correlates with AP dural sac diameter. Thus, this classification focused on facet erosion, which leads to functional incompetence may be helpful in surgical decision-making.

Laboratory study. ⋯ Load direction plays a subordinate role in traumatic fractures of the odontoid process. BMD was associated with significant correlation to the biomechanical outcomes. Thus, odontoid fractures appear to result from of an interaction between the load magnitude and bone quality.

Comparison of Endoscopic Facet Joint Denervation to the Percutaneous Technique Regarding Efficacy in Patients With Low Back Pain: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
This was a single-center prospective randomized controlled study. ⋯ Percutaneous and endoscopic FJD reduced pain and improved functionality and quality of life. However, the effects decreased or disappeared in the PG after 12 months, whereas there was still a strong significant improvement in the EG.
