This was a retrospective cohort study. ⋯ This study demonstrates that an SVFC is an effective and safe alternative pathway to traditional hospital-based outpatient clinics, ith low-risk for any adverse outcomes.

Experimental study. ⋯ Buckling of the ligamentum flavum coexists with tissue hypertrophy and contributes to perceived ligamentum thickening on imaging. Buckling of the ligamentum flavum tends to occur in less hypertrophied tissues and is associated with the grade of disc degeneration and the presence of other characteristics associated with spinal degeneration.

Retrospective Review. ⋯ Patients undergoing lumbar fusion with greater than 2 years of symptoms prior to surgery have a smaller increase in PROMIS-PF and are less likely to achieve MCID on PROMIS-PF. Further study is needed in order to determine the optimal timing for lumbar fusion surgery following symptom onset.
