Meta AnalysisEndovascular Treatment of Ruptured Intracranial Blister Aneurysms: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.
Endovascular treatment of blister aneurysms is a promising approach, even though they are vascular lesions challenging to treat due to their angioarchitectural characteristics. ⋯ This study suggests that endovascular treatment of blister aneurysms is associated with good long-term occlusion rates and reasonable complication and mortality rates. There is no consensus on the best endovascular techniques in blister aneurysm management.

Noninvasive Determination of IDH and 1p19q Status of Lower-grade Gliomas Using MRI Radiomics: A Systematic Review.
Determination of isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH) status and, if IDH-mutant, assessing 1p19q codeletion are an important component of diagnosis of World Health Organization grades II/III or lower-grade gliomas. This has led to research into noninvasively correlating imaging features ("radiomics") with genetic status. ⋯ Radiogenomics is a potential alternative to standard invasive biopsy techniques for determination of IDH and 1p19q status in lower-grade gliomas but requires translational research for clinical uptake.

ReviewPreserving Access: A Review of Stroke Thrombectomy during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Thrombectomy for large-vessel-occlusion stroke is a highly impactful treatment. The spread of coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) across the United States and the globe impacts access to this crucial intervention through widespread societal and institutional changes. In this document, we review the implications of COVID-19 on the emergency care of large-vessel occlusion stroke, reviewing specific infection-control recommendations, available literature, existing resources, and expert consensus. ⋯ Preservation of access to thrombectomy must be prioritized for its public health impact. While the extent of required changes will vary by region, tiered planning for both escalation and de-escalation of measures must be a part of each practice. In addition, preparations described serve as templates in the event of future pandemics.

Meta AnalysisLong-Term Rupture Risk in Patients with Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms Treated with Endovascular Therapy: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Surveillance imaging of previously unruptured, coiled aneurysms remains routine even though reports of rupture of these aneurysms are extremely rare. ⋯ Given a 5% retreatment rate, postcoil embolization spontaneous rupture of previously unruptured, small- and medium-sized, well-treated aneurysms is exceedingly rare.

ReviewArtificial Intelligence in the Management of Intracranial Aneurysms: Current Status and Future Perspectives.
Intracranial aneurysms with subarachnoid hemorrhage lead to high morbidity and mortality. It is of critical importance to detect aneurysms, identify risk factors of rupture, and predict treatment response of aneurysms to guide clinical interventions. Artificial intelligence has received worldwide attention for its impressive performance in image-based tasks. ⋯ Artificial intelligence has also been used in automated morphologic calculation, rupture risk stratification, and outcomes prediction with the implementation of machine learning methods, which have exhibited incremental value. This review summarizes current advances of artificial intelligence in the management of aneurysms, including detection and prediction. The challenges and future directions of clinical implementations of artificial intelligence are briefly discussed.
