The physical activity implications of retirement across occupational activity groups.
Retirement is an important later life transition which may represent a critical period for physical activity in older age. Past findings on the association between retirement and physical activity are inconclusive and there is some evidence that the physical activity implications of retirement may differ by occupational activity level. This study used data from waves 4-9 (June 2008-July 2019) of the English Longitudinal Study on Aging to evaluate whether there is an association between retirement and physical activity, and whether this varies across occupational activity groups. ⋯ This study quantified the importance of retirement for later life physical activity. With demographic aging, the population health importance of later life physical activity will likely become more important. These findings should inform the design of public health interventions to increase physical activity around the retirement transition.

Action recognition for sports combined training based on wearable sensor technology and SVM prediction.
In the field of sports, coaches have mainly relied on observing the performance of athletes on the spot to formulate suitable training plans for athletes, which has extremely high requirements for the professionalism of coaches. Based on the above requirements, this paper designs a sports action recognition system for sports enthusiasts based on the SVM algorithm optimization model, and for the purpose of verifying the applicability of the system to different sports fields, experiments are carried out on basketball actions and race walking actions. The system uses wearable sensors to capture the motion data of the user, and then analyzes and identifies the user's actions through the SVM algorithm optimization model. ⋯ Combining the forward kinematics of the robot and the homogeneous coordinate transformation, the human body joint rotation motion model and the human bone position and posture model are established. In the end, the user can standardize the sports combination training under the system algorithm. In this paper, through the research of wearable sensor technology and sports combined training action recognition, and apply it to practical life, it aims to promote its development and application.

Knowledge of cancer risk factors and risk-reduction in high-income countries.
According to the International Public Opinion Survey on Cancer 2020, on average, nearly 1 in 3 individuals in high-income countries (HIC) did not engage in risk reduction. Meanwhile, only 1 in 4 individuals reported being aware that eating red and processed meat was a cancer risk factor. We explored relations between risk-reduction behavior and self-perceived knowledge of cancer risk factors in HIC using data from the survey. ⋯ Every unit increase in the proportion of the population knowledgeable about a cancer risk factor, on average across risk factors and HIC, significantly increases the proportion of people engaging in risk reduction by approximately 16.91%. A significant interaction effect was found between knowledge and country, but not between knowledge and risk factor. Using respondents' non-response options to represent lack of risk factor knowledge Japan had the largest percentage of individuals lacking knowledge about risk factors as well as the largest percentage of individuals not engaging in risk reduction.

Effects of nutrition intervention on the rehabilitation level and quality of life of patients with diabetes foot: Image observation based on image recognition technology.
Today, the application of CT scanning technology is still limited. Therefore, an image observation method based on image recognition technology is proposed in this paper to study the impact of nutritional intervention on the rehabilitation level and quality of life of diabetic foot patients. Firstly, in view of the noise problems existing in CT images, this paper adopts the denoising technology, in which Gaussian noise and salt and pepper noise denoising algorithms are mainly used. ⋯ Finally, CNN model is used to study image classification. The effects of nutritional intervention on the rehabilitation level and quality of life of patients with diabetic foot were investigated by setting up a comparative experiment. The results showed that nutrition intervention nursing can effectively improve the rehabilitation level of diabetic foot patients, improve the quality of life, improve nursing satisfaction.

Application of video image processing in sports action recognition based on particle swarm optimization algorithm.
The existing sports training methods are mainly aimed at the sports field environment. The traditional sports training is only based on the coaches' visual inspection and combined with their own experience to put forward suggestions, which is relatively inefficient, thus limiting the rise of athletes' sports training level to a certain extent. ⋯ With the application of video image processing technology in sports training becoming more and more common, athletes can analyze their training videos in a more intuitive way and find out shortcomings, so as to improve the training effect. This paper studies particle swarm optimization algorithm and applies it to the field of video image processing, which promotes the development of sports action recognition technology based on video processing.
