To assess macro- and microstructural brain changes in patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PXS). ⋯ MRI in patients with PXS detects abnormalities in the brain and the optic tracts at a subclinical stage. Early detection of microstructural changes could be useful to guide appropriate treatment to impede the disease process.

Anterior cruciate ligament fixation devices: Expected imaging appearance and common complications.
Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction is a commonly performed orthopaedic procedure which has increased in frequency over the past decade. There are a variety of fixation devices used to secure grafts within the femoral and tibial tunnels during the reconstruction procedure. An understanding of the expected appearance of the varied hardware utilized for reconstruction graft fixation, and their potential complications is important in the review of post-operative imaging. We describe the most common anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction fixation devices and illustrate their more frequently documented abnormalities.

To investigate the correlation between MRI, clinical tests, histopathologic features of posterior tibial tendon (PTT) dysfunction in patients with acquired adult flatfoot deformity surgically treated with medializing calcaneal osteotomy and flexor digitorum longus tendon transposition. ⋯ For PTT dysfunction, there is high correlation between HR and FMR test and histology evaluated using the Movin score, while no correlation was seen for the Bonar score. Semiquantitative grading of PTT dysfunction at MRI only correlates to the FMR and not to histology. The hindfoot valgus angle is not correlated to any of the considered variables.

To explore the value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) and intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) for distinguishing between benign and malignant sinonasal lesions and investigate the correlations between the two methods. ⋯ DCE-MRI and IVIM can effectively differentiate between benign and malignant sinonasal lesions. IVIM findings correlate with DCE-MRI results and may represent an alternative to DCE-MRI.

This study aimed to investigate the capability of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging radiomics signatures for pretreatment prediction of early response to induction chemotherapy in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). ⋯ Pretreatment morphological MR imaging radiomics signatures can predict early response to induction chemotherapy in patients with NPC.
