Randomized Controlled Trial[Effect of ephedrine on the intubation conditions using rocuronium versus succinylcholine].
The goal of this study was to determine if ephedrine could improve intubating conditions when it is administered before the muscle relaxant (rocuronium and succinylcholine). ⋯ Use of ephedrine 30 seconds before induction with propofol, fentanyl followed by rocuronium or succinylcholine provides faster good conditions of intubation.

Comparative Study[Tracheal intubation through the intubating laryngeal mask airway training on manikin: comparison of single use and reusable devices from the same manufacturer].
Recently, the French Society for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) has updated algorithms for difficult airway management, in which, the place of the intubating laryngeal mask (ILMA) is well defined. Moreover, in the guidelines, the SFAR recommended that the training for the different techniques for difficult intubation should initially be achieved on manikins. However, few data are available for disposable ILMA learning process on manikins. ⋯ This study shows that both disposable and reusable ILMA share similar learning process on manikins. Further studies are needed to evaluate the efficiency of the disposable ILMA in the clinical field of difficult intubation.

Case Reports[Interscalene brachial plexus block for glenohumeral luxation in prehospital medicine].
We report the case of a successful interscalene block for the pain management of a glenohumeral luxation in prehospital care. Interscalene block is an attractive technique in prehospital pain management. However, this regional anaesthesia technique must be performed only by a skilled anaesthesiologist.
