ReviewTherapeutic life review in palliative care: a systematic review of quantitative evaluations.
There is increasing interest in providing nonpharmacological treatments, including therapeutic life review interventions, to enhance palliative care patients' existential/spiritual domains. ⋯ There are few studies evaluating therapeutic life review interventions, although results are promising. Further studies are required that use stricter selection criteria to demonstrate efficacy before these interventions are adopted into clinical practice. Further study may include the effect of these interventions on the interventionist and the bereaved family and caregivers in long-term follow-up.

A longitudinal study of depression, fatigue, and sleep disturbances as a symptom cluster in women with breast cancer.
Depression, fatigue, and sleep disturbances have been identified as a symptom cluster among breast cancer patients. However, few longitudinal studies have examined the temporal relations between these symptoms surrounding diagnosis and treatment. ⋯ Findings supported the notion that depression, fatigue, and sleep disturbances manifest as a symptom cluster. Fatigue may precede nonsomatic symptoms of depression among premenopausal breast cancer patients and represents a potential intervention target.

The psychometric properties of the hebrew version of the memorial symptom assessment scale (MSAS-Heb) in patients with breast cancer.
To date, no report of the psychometric properties of the Hebrew version of the Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale (MSAS-Heb) has been available, which may be a barrier to comprehensively assessing symptom frequency, severity, and distress in Israeli patients with cancer. ⋯ The MSAS-Heb is a valid and a reliable measure and should be a useful tool in the clinical arena and in future studies for evaluation of multiple symptoms in Israeli patients with cancer.
