Multicenter StudyVaginal delivery in SARS-CoV-2-infected pregnant women in Israel: a multicenter prospective analysis.
Among SARS-CoV-2-infected mothers, vaginal delivery rates were high and associated with favorable outcomes with no cases of neonatal COVID-19. ⋯ In this prospective study among SARS-CoV-2-infected mothers, vaginal delivery rates were high and associated with favorable outcomes with no cases of neonatal COVID-19. Our findings underscore that delivery management among SARS-CoV-2-infected mothers should be based on obstetric indications and may potentially reduce the high rates of cesarean delivery previously reported in this setting.

Multicenter StudyAnesthetic management of prophylactic cervical cerclage: a retrospective multicenter cohort study.
Cervical incompetence complicates approximately 1 in 500 pregnancies and is the most common cause of second-trimester spontaneous abortion and preterm labor. No prospective or large retrospective studies have compared regional and general anesthesia for cervical cerclage. ⋯ Both regional and general anesthesia were safely used for the performance of cerclage. Patients after general anesthesia had a shorter recovery time but a higher demand for opioids and non-opioids analgesia.

Multicenter Study Comparative StudyInterest of human papillomavirus DNA quantification and genotyping in paired cervical and urine samples to detect cervical lesions.
Cervical cancer is caused by persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV). Conventional human papillomavirus (HPV) testing requires cervical sampling. However, vaginal and urine self-sampling methods are more acceptable for patients and result in increased participation when they are available in screening programs. In this context, we have developed a non-invasive screening method via the detection of HPV DNA in urine samples. ⋯ High concordance rates for HPV-DNA quantification and high/low-risk HPV genotyping in paired urine/cervical samples suggest that urinary HPV DNA testing could be useful for cervical lesion screening.

Multicenter StudyIs vaginal hyaluronic acid as effective as vaginal estriol for vaginal dryness relief?
In a multicenter, randomized, controlled, open-label, parallel- group trial hyaluronic acid vaginal gel (Hyalofemme) was compared to estriol vaginal cream (Ovestin) in women with vaginal dryness due to various causes. A total of 144 supposedly postmenopausal women below age 70 years were randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either receive hyaluronic acid vaginal gel (5 g per application) or estriol vaginal cream (0.5 g cream per application = 0.5 mg estriol) every 3 days for a total of ten applications, respectively. Exclusion criteria included vaginal infections, conventional contraindications to estrogens, use of vaginal products other than the investigational compounds, being unmarried, pregnant, or breastfeeding. ⋯ Adverse events (suspected to be) related to the investigational compounds were minor and included vaginal infection and genital itching. The authors concluded that hyaluronic acid vaginal gel was not inferior to estriol vaginal cream in women presenting with vaginal dryness. They suggest using hyaluronic acid vaginal gel not only as an alternative treatment to vaginal estrogens, but also to consider its general use in women presenting with vaginal dryness of any cause.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative StudyLetrozole versus clomiphene citrate for superovulation in Egyptian women with unexplained infertility: a randomized controlled trial.
To compare the efficacy of letrozole with clomiphene citrate (CC) in Egyptian women with unexplained infertility. ⋯ Letrozole has beneficial effect on endometrium, an action that may improve the implantation and pregnancy rates in women with unexplained infertility.
