Randomized Controlled TrialThe effects of incremental speed-dependent treadmill training on postural instability and fear of falling in Parkinson's disease.
To detect the effectiveness of incremental speed-dependent treadmill training on postural instability, dynamic balance and fear of falling in patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease. ⋯ Specific exercise programmes using incremental speed-dependent treadmill training may improve mobility, reduce postural instability and fear of falling in patients with Parkinson's disease.

Randomized Controlled TrialRandomized controlled study of the antinociceptive effect of ultrasound on trigger point sensitivity: novel applications in myofascial therapy?
To investigate whether therapeutic ultrasound modulates the pain sensitivity of myofascial trigger points. ⋯ Therapeutic exposures to ultrasound reduce short-term trigger point sensitivity. Ultrasound may be a useful clinical tool for the treatment and management of trigger points and myofascial pain syndromes.

Randomized Controlled TrialA randomized controlled study of botulinum toxin A in the treatment of hemiplegic shoulder pain associated with spasticity.
To assess the effects of botulinum toxin A (BT-A) on hemiplegic shoulder pain associated with spasticity. ⋯ Possible reasons for the negative finding in this study include the small sample size and the presence of causes of shoulder pain not related to spasticity which could have confounded outcome.
