Multicenter StudyDo age, gender, and region affect tibial slope? A multi-center study.
Tibial slope is a parameter that is important to recognize in knee kinematics and knee surgery. A very wide range of values governing posterior tibial slope exist in the literature. This study is based on the hypothesis that age, gender and region may have an effect on the tibial slope. ⋯ Region, age, and gender affect tibial slope in different populations in various ways. Our study shows that the region an individual lives in and living conditions affect the tibial slope.

Multicenter StudyAnatomic repair and ligament bracing as an alternative treatment option for acute combined PCL injuries involving the posteromedial or posterolateral corner-results of a multicentre study.
Combined PCL injuries involving the posteromedial/-lateral corner (PMC/PLC) usually require surgical management. Literature shows controversy regarding the standards of treatment. Suture-augmented repair leads to excellent results in acute knee dislocations but has not been investigated clinically in combined PCL injuries. The purpose of this multicentre study was to evaluate the clinical outcome of this technique in acute combined PCL injuries. ⋯ Level II.

Multicenter StudyFactors that affect external rotation following reverse shoulder arthroplasty: a retrospective multi-centre study on 501 shoulders.
The purpose of this multi-centre study was to assess external rotation in a large cohort following reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA) at a minimum follow-up of 2 years, and identify factors that influence postoperative and/or net-improvement of external rotation. ⋯ IV.

Multicenter StudyMulticenter consensus statements on the use of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in Hand Surgery.
The purpose of this agreement was to establish consensus statements on the use of low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) in hand surgery. ⋯ There is a consensus among German hand surgeons, when and how LIPUS can be applied for improving fracture healing of the hand. Randomized controlled trials with direct comparison of fracture treatment with and without LIPUS are needed to support these statements with objective data.

Multicenter StudyA novel classification of osteotomized debridement based on the range of focus in treating active thoracolumbar tuberculosis: a multicenter study.
Osteotomized debridement (OD) is increasingly used in the treatment of active thoracolumbar tuberculosis (TB). So far, no nomenclature has been established to describe the patterns of OD, and thus the surgical outcomes cannot be directly analyzed and compared among the patients treated with different extents of OD. The purpose of this study was to establish a reliable classification of OD for further study of spinal TB. ⋯ This classification proved to be intuitive and reliable. The graded OD provides a platform for preoperative evaluation and allows comparative analysis of clinical outcomes in different extents of OD.
