T2 -based MRI Delta-radiomics improve response prediction in soft-tissue sarcomas treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
Standard of care for patients with high-grade soft-tissue sarcoma (STS) are being redefined since neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has demonstrated a positive effect on patients' outcome. Yet response evaluation in clinical trials still relies on RECIST criteria. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:497-510.

Probing structure of normal and malignant prostate tissue before and after radiation therapy with luminal water fraction and diffusion-weighted MRI.
Interpretation of diffusion in conjunction with T2 -weighted MRI is essential for assessing prostate cancer; however, the combination of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) with quantitative T2 mapping remains unexplored. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:619-627.

Assessing the performance of benign and malignant breast lesion classification with bilateral TIC differentiation and other effective features in DCE-MRI.
Dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) is increasingly being used to detect and diagnose breast cancer. However, the effective methods based on quantitative feature analysis need to be explored. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:465-473.

3T chemical shift-encoded MRI: Detection of altered proximal femur marrow adipose tissue composition in glucocorticoid users and validation with magnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Osteoporosis (OP) results in weak bone and can ultimately lead to fracture. Drugs such as glucocorticoids can also induce OP (glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis [GIO]). Bone marrow adipose tissue composition and quantity may play a role in OP pathophysiology, but has not been thoroughly studied in GIO compared to primary OP. ⋯ 2 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:490-496.

Fast myocardial T1 mapping using shortened inversion recovery based schemes.
Myocardial T1 mapping shows promise for assessment of cardiomyopathies. Most myocardial T1 mapping techniques, such as modified Look-Locker inversion recovery (MOLLI), generate one T1 map per breath-held acquisition (9-17 heartbeats), which prolongs multislice protocols and may be unsuitable for patients with breath-holding difficulties. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy Stage: 3 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:641-654.
