Simplified Luminal Water Imaging for the Detection of Prostate Cancer From Multiecho T2 MR Images.
Luminal water imaging (LWI) suffers less from imaging artifacts than the diffusion-weighted imaging used in multiparametric MRI of the prostate. LWI obtains multicompartment tissue information from a multiecho T2 dataset. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:910-917.

Preoperative prediction of lymphovascular invasion in invasive breast cancer with dynamic contrast-enhanced-MRI-based radiomics.
Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) status facilitates the selection of optimal therapeutic strategy for breast cancer patients, but in clinical practice LVI status is determined in pathological specimens after resection. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy Stage: 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:847-857.

Rapid Radial T1 and T2 Mapping of the Hip Articular Cartilage With Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting.
Quantitative MRI can detect early changes in cartilage biochemical components, but its routine clinical implementation is challenging. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy: Stage 1 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:810-815.

Diffusion kurtosis imaging-derived histogram metrics for prediction of KRAS mutation in rectal adenocarcinoma: Preliminary findings.
Although histological examination is the standard method for assessing genetic status, the development of a noninvasive method, which can display the heterogeneity of the whole tumor to supplement genotype analysis, might be important for personalized treatment strategies. ⋯ 3 Technical Efficacy: Stage 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:930-939.

Observational StudyIntravoxel Incoherent Motion Combined With Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced Perfusion MRI of Early Cervical Carcinoma: Correlations Between Multimodal Parameters and HIF-1α Expression.
The identification of hypoxia inducible factor (HIF-1α) expression is helpful for the quantitative assessment of tumor hypoxia. The application of multimodal imaging techniques may play a part in the assessment of HIF-1α expression of cervical carcinoma. ⋯ 1 Technical Efficacy Stage: 2 J. Magn. Reson. Imaging 2019;50:918-929.
