Evaluation of patients' response to pulsed radiofrequency treatment applied to the suprascapular nerve in patients with chronic shoulder pain.
The aim of this study was to evaluate patient satisfaction, efficacy and safety of the pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) technique applied to the suprascapular nerve for the treatment of refractory shoulder pain. ⋯ Pulsed radiofrequency technique application to the suprascapular nerve for 480 seconds shows remarkable improvement at patients' chronic shoulder pain.

Randomized Controlled TrialRapid analgesic onset of intra-articular hyaluronic acid with ketorolac in osteoarthritis of the knee.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of intra-articular ketorolac to improve intra-articular hyaluronic acid (HA) therapy in knee osteoarthritis with respect to the initiation of pain relief. ⋯ Intra-articular HA with ketorolac showed more rapid analgesic onset than intra-articular HA alone and did not induce any serious complications.

Clinical TrialShort-term follow-up: micro-invasive therapy of the cervical herniated disk by percutaneous nucleotomy.
The purpose of this article is to present the clinical results of percutaneous nucleotomy treatment on patients with cervical disk herniation. ⋯ Cervical percutaneous nucleotomy is a promising alternative to traditional open disk surgery or to chemonucleolysis for herniated disks of the cervical spine.
