Case ReportsRupture of Non-communicating Rudimentary Horn Pregnancy at 15 Weeks with Previous Normal Pregnancies: A Case Report.
Rudimentary horn is a mullerian anomaly that is a variant of unicornuate uterus. Rudimentary horn pregnancies are rare and associated with increased maternal morbidity and mortality. Diagnosis of rudimentary horn pregnancy and its rupture in a woman with previous vaginal delivery is challenging. ⋯ We report a case of G3P2L2 at 15 weeks period of gestation referred to our centre as a case of intrauterine pregnancy with acute abdomen. She underwent emergency laparotomy and was found to have ruptured rudimentary horn intraoperatively. Excision of the ruptured rudimentary horn and ipsilateral salpingectomy was done and the patient had an uneventful postoperative recovery.

Case ReportsCutaneous Leishmaniasis of Lip and Role of Polymerase Chain Reaction: A Case Report.
The diagnosis of cutaneous leishmaniasis is mostly confirmed by the identification of parasite in a skin smear or biopsy. However, this method may not always be sensitive enough to detect the disease when parasitic load is low. Molecular test such as polymerase chain reactions can be useful in such circumstances. ⋯ A 17-years-old female from mountainous district of Nepal, presented with a crusted plaque over the upper lip for a duration of 6 months. Both skin smear and biopsy from the lesion failed to demonstrate Leishmania parasite but a polymerase chain reaction test was positive for Leishmania donovani. This case emphasizes on the importance of molecular testing such as polymerase chain reaction when commonly performed diagnostics test fails to support confirmation of clinical diagnosis.

Standard Operating Procedure for Specimen Collection, Packaging and Transport for Diagnosis of SARS-COV-2.
Coronavirus disease-19 is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARSCoV-2). Specimen quality, and proper transportation is vital for accurate diagnosis. ⋯ Nasopharyngeal swabs and/or oropharyngeal swabs should be collected for real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction to detect SARS-CoV-2. The sample should be collected wearing proper personal protective equipment, packed in a triple packaging system, and transported maintaining cold chain.
