Sepsis among Adults Admitted to Intensive Care Unit of a Tertiary Care Centre.
Sepsis is a syndrome that starts with an infection, causes organ dysfunction, and leads to death is a global health issue in critically ill patients. While its epidemiology is well-known in high-income countries, it is poorly understood in low- and middle-income countries, including Nepal. Poor Quality of Sleep among Healthcare Workers in a Tertiary Care Centre.
Health personnel work under highly stressful conditions with long work hours, frequent night work, and shift duties resulting in sleep problems. Sleep problems lead to a decline in performance, cognition, memory, decision-making, medical errors and mental disorders. Periodontal Lesions among Maxillary Sinus Mucosal Thickening Visiting the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology of a Tertiary Care Centre.
Maxillary sinus due to its proximity to posterior maxillary teeth could be affected by their pathology. Since cone beam computed tomography is the go-to for 3-D imaging in dental set-up. Positive Attitude Towards Personal Drug Selection among Undergraduate Medical Students of a Medical College.
Personal drug exercise helps in the selection of drugs depending on the criteria- safety, efficacy, suitability and cost. Undergraduate medical students are the future practitioners-in-training and should focus more on rational prescribing.
