ReviewMedical Induction for Mid trimester Abortion: A Hospital-based Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.
Second trimester abortion is known as termination of pregnancy from 13- 28 weeks of gestation which can be further divided into early second trimester as 13-22 weeks and late as 23-28 weeks. In our study we have limited up to early second trimester. We intend to see the success rate of combination of mifepristone and misoprostol for medical induction, median time required for expulsion, complication and need of dilation and evacuation in some cases. This study also aims to give a review of current literature in mid trimester abortion with respect to efficacy, complication and also to provide evidencebase recommendation for safe regimens for mid trimester pregnancy termination. ⋯ The combination of Mifepristone and Misoprostol have excellent result for termination of pregnancy if appropriately used after evaluating the patient with minimal complications.

ReviewCoronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): A Pediatric Perspective.
Coronavirus disease 2019, the new public health emergency that originated in China, is spreading rapidly across the globe with limited tools to confine this growing pandemic. The virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, is transmitted by droplet infection from person to person. Our current understanding of the disease spectrum is limited. ⋯ The disease is confirmed by demonstration of the virus by real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction in respiratory secretions. Due to the lack of specific antiviral agents, we rely on infection-control measures to prevent disease spread and on supportive care for infected ones. This article has summarized the clinical characteristics of children with coronavirus disease 2019 based on published case reports.

ReviewBlood-based Biomarkers for Early Diagnosis of Lung Cancer: A Review Article.
Lung cancer is the severe leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Early detection of lung cancer can significantly increase their survival rate. ⋯ Similarly, lung tumor tissue as invasive and difficult to obtain and potentially risky procedures, there is the immediate need of non-invasive, novel sensitive and reliable blood-based tumor markers which now has become an important area on research. This review will mainly focus on recently identified circulating biomarkers: circulating tumor cells, circulating tumor deoxyribonucleic acid, tumor-derived exosomes, circulating ribonucleic acid and micro ribonucleic acid, and tumoreducated platelets which may enable earlier diagnosis of lung cancer and their application in clinical practices.

ReviewA Simplified Understanding of the Black Swan: Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome.
Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome or Hugh's syndrome is a heterogeneous disorder, first fully described in 1980s. The syndrome is caused by the presence of specific antibodies against phospholipid binding plasma proteins in the serum of the patient, with or without underlying autoimmune diseases, that causes prolongation of tests of coagulation. High index of clinical suspicion is required for diagnosis of Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome. ⋯ Steroids, intravenous immunoglobulin and immunosuppressant are reported to be effective in severe cases of catastrophic antiphospholid syndrome characterized by rapid small vessel thrombotic involvement of multiple organ systems. Studies are evaluating the efficacy of direct thrombin inhibitors in the management of refractory cases. Keywords: anticoagulants; anti-phospholipid syndrome; obstetric APS; thrombotic APS.
