Sepsis among Adults Admitted to Intensive Care Unit of a Tertiary Care Centre.
Sepsis is a syndrome that starts with an infection, causes organ dysfunction, and leads to death is a global health issue in critically ill patients. While its epidemiology is well-known in high-income countries, it is poorly understood in low- and middle-income countries, including Nepal. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of sepsis among adults admitted to the intensive care unit of a tertiary care centre. ⋯ intensive care units; prevalence; sepsis.

Sepsis among Neonates Admitted to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in a Tertiary Care Centre.
Neonatal sepsis is a condition that carries a high risk for mortality as neonates rapidly transition to extra-uterine life and are subjected to various risk factors. Sepsis prevalence can be reduced by good antenatal care, early detection and treatment of risk factors. Ocular Firework Injuries among Patients Presented to the Emergency Department During Festival Season in a Tertiary Eye Hospital.
Fireworks can cause severe ocular injuries which can be prevented if used with proper precautions. It causes not only mechanical injuries but also thermal and chemical injuries. Infective Vaginal Discharge among Women of the Reproductive Age in the Outpatient Department of a Primary Care Centre.
Infective vaginal discharge is the most common complaint of the women of reproductive age group attending gynaecology outpatient department. Vaginal discharge may be normal or abnormal. Infective vaginal discharge is usually related to one of the three conditions, like bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, and trichomoniasis. This study aimed to find out the prevalence of infective vaginal discharge among women of the reproductive age in the outpatient department of a primary care centre. ⋯ bacterial; candidiasis; prevalence; vaginitis.
