Case ReportsSilver-Russell Syndrome: Orthodontic Perspective.
Silver-Russell syndrome (SRS) is a rare disorder characterised by prenatal and postnatal growth deficiency, a relatively large head size with triangular face, a prominent forehead, body asymmetry, feeding difficulties, clinodactyly and other features. Abnormalities of chromosome number 7 and 11 have been found in 60% of patients, but the diagnosis of the disease is mainly by ascertaining clinical features. We, herein, report a case of an 11-year boy who presented to Orthodontics Department of Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry (AFID), for treatment of craniofacial and oral problems, which included small-sized jaws and severely crowded teeth. The patient is undergoing serial extraction treatment at the moment, which will be followed by further orthodontic treatment. Key Words: Silver-Russell syndrome, Growth deficiency, Triangular face, Body asymmetry.

Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of Point-of-care Ultrasonography on the Diagnostic Process of Patients Admitted to the Emergency Department with Chest Pain: A Randomised Controlled Trial.
To evaluate the effect of point of care ultrasonography (POCUS) performed for heart, lung, aorta, hepatobiliary and deep veins on the diagnosis, length of stay (LOS) in emergency department (ED) and cost in patients admitted to the ED with chest pain. ⋯ POCUS is a repeatable, practical imaging method which does not require radiation, reduces LOS in the ED statistically significant. However, further studies are needed to determine its usefulness in the ED. Key Words: Chest pain, Cost, Emergency medicine, Length of stay, Point of care ultrasound.

Perioperative Indices Predicting Fever Following Percutaneus Nephrolithotomy.
To investigate 18 independent peroperative parameters that may have an effect on fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL). ⋯ High GSS, mid-calyceal access, the increase in the amount of mid-calyceal access, the longer duration of achieving limpid urine coming out of the nephrostomy tube were found to be related with fever after PCNL. Key Words: PCNL, Post-PCNL fever, Nephrolithiasis, Guy's stone score.

Association between Cardio-ankle Vascular Index and Contrast-induced Nephropathy.
To investigate the relationship between cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI), which is a marker of arteriosclerosis and the development of contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN). ⋯ AS is more common in ACS patients, who developed CIN after CAG. Older patients with low EF and low GFR, in whom AS is more common, should be intravenously hydrated and more closely monitored to prevent CIN development. Key Words: Contrast-induced nephropathy, Acute coronary syndrome, Cardio-ankle vascular index, Arterial stiffness.
