Randomized Controlled TrialEffects of Propranolol in Accelerating Wound Healing and Attenuation of Hypermetabolism in Adult Burn Patients.
To compare the mean duration of wound healing and attenuation of muscle wasting in adult burn patients treated with propranolol and control group. ⋯ Propranolol administration in adult burn patients appears to be beneficial in reducing morbidity, mortality and hospital stay by enhancing earlier wound healing and attenuating the catabolic muscle wasting in response to stress caused by burn.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyEffects of Butyphthalide Combined with Idebenone on Inflammatory Cytokines and Vascular Endothelial Functions of Patients with Vascular Dementia.
To determinate the clinical effect of butyphthalide combined with idebenone in the treatment of vascular dementia (VD) and the influence on inflammatory cytokines and vascular endothelial functions. ⋯ Butyphthalide combined with idebenone can effectively reduce serum inflammatory factor level of VD patients, regulate vascular endothelial functions, relieve dementia degree, and improve cognitive function and daily activity ability.

Randomized Controlled TrialComparison of Curative Effects between Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Lag Screw Internal Fixation and Reconstruction Plate for Unstable Pelvic Fractures.
To compare the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive percutaneous lag screw internal fixation and reconstruction plate in the treatment of unstable pelvic fractures. ⋯ Compared with reconstruction plate, minimally invasive percutaneous lag screw internal fixation has better clinical efficacy in patients with unstable pelvic fractures; meanwhile, it can effectively increase serum ALP level, reduce the levels of inflammatory cytokines TNF-α and CRP, and effectively reduce surgical trauma as well as postoperative body stress response.

Randomized Controlled TrialIntraperitoneal Bupivacaine as Post-laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Analgesia.
To assess the efficacy of large volumes of diluted intraperitoneal bupivacaine in post-laparoscopic cholecystectomy analgesia. ⋯ Large volume of diluted bupivacaine when injected intraperitoneally during laparoscopic cholecystectomy provides prolonged time pain relief.
