Case ReportsLocally Aggressive Mixed Epithelial and Stromal Tumour of Kidney Leading to Nephron Loss.
Mixed epithelial and stromal tumour (MEST) is a rare benign renal tumour. It is mainly found in perimenopausal women. We present a case of a 42-year female with no known comorbid who was presented in the outpatient clinic for the right flank pain. ⋯ Histopathology of the specimen revealed MEST. We demonstrate that MEST of the kidney may have an aggressive local behaviour leading to nephron loss. Key Words: Mixed epithelial and stromal tumour, Kidney, Benign, Renal neoplasm.

Case ReportsTreatment of Severe Congenital Scoliosis with Type ІI Respiratory Failure.
We report a case of a 14-year girl with severe congenital scoliosis (CS) and type ІІ respiratory failure (RF), who underwent preoperative halo-gravity traction in combination with intraoperative orthopaedic surgery on the spine based on the results of physical examination, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), computed tomography (CT), and blood gas analysis. The patient's coronal and sagittal Cobb's angles changed from 100° to 45° and 40°, respectively, and RF changed from type ІІ to type І after treatment. ⋯ During follow-up for nearly 3 years, no loss of deformity correction and no serious complications occurred, and the patient showed a good clinical outcome and balanced spine. Key Words: Congenital scoliosis, Halo-gravity traction, Respiratory failure.

Herein, we report a case of a 35-year female with the pulseless disease but no other clinical signs except headache and neck pain on exertion despite the fact that three out of four vessels of the aortic arch were occluded. ⋯ This case report highlights the clinical importance of unexplained headaches and absent peripheral pulses in the screening of TA. Key Words: Takayasu arteritis, Unexplained headache, Neck pain.
