Case ReportsDuodenal Ulcer Perforatıon after Actıvated Charcoal Treatment.
Activated charcoal, having the capacity to absorb substances with its porous surface, has been used in intoxication treatment for nearly 200 years. Although live-saving, occasionally, it can lead to complications. Because of the risk of perforation during activated charcoal therapy, the integrity of the gastrointestinal tract should be checked after the procedure. ⋯ The present case constitutes the first report of duodenal ulcer perforation after activated charcoal therapy. It should be remembered that activated charcoal, which is widely used in intoxication treatment, may cause gastrointestinal system perforation, peritonitis, adhesion, abscess formation, organ loss within the abdomen, and prolonged hospitalization. Case ReportsNon-Surgical Management of Lingual Hemangioma by Combined Sclerotherapy and Cryotherapy.
Hemangioma is frequently seen benign tumour of vascular origin, typed into capillary and cavernous hemangiomas based on the nature of vessels in the lesions. Capillary hemangioma is a collection of small capillary-size vessels and shows lobule formation. Cavernous hemangioma is formed by the large dilated vessels and it can reach a large size. ⋯ Several treatment modalities including sclerotherapy, embolisation, laser surgery, and cryosurgery have been described. Here, we are reporting a case of a 12-year boy diagnosed with a hemangioma on the left lateral border of the tongue using ultrasonography with color Doppler application and treated non-surgically with sclerotherapy and cryotherapy. Case ReportsNeuroendocrine Tumour of the Gallbladder Diagnosed after Cholecystectomy.
Gallbladder cancer is a rare but aggressive malignancy. Neuroendocrine tumour of the gallbladder make up 2-3% of all the gallbladder tumour. A 67-year female patient underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy because of symptomatic cholelithiasis and the histopathology revealed a neuroendocrine tumour of the gallbladder, stage pT2a. ⋯ Guidelines are also insufficient. Multi-centred and large studies are needed in order to develop standardisation in treatment, prognosis, and factors affecting survival. Key Words: Cholecystectomy, Neuroendocrine Tumour, Gallbladder.

Case ReportsIt does Exist! Traumatic Hemorrhage in Septum Pellucidum.
Although bleeding into the septum pellucidum often occurs in the presence of a tumour, trauma-induced septal pellucidum hemorrhage has not been reported yet, as far as the current literature is concerned. The absence of hemorrhage on the first post-trauma imaging of the patient but the presence of hemorrhage in the brain tomography taken 12 hours later reveals the existence of trauma-induced septum pellucidum hemorrhage.
