Comparative StudyClinical applicability of variations in arch dimensions and arch forms among various vertical facial patterns.
To compare dental arch dimensions and arch forms in various vertical facial patterns. ⋯ Statistically significant difference in arch dimensions was found only in maxillary total arch length and mandibular posterior intermolar width. A non-linear relationship was found between arch length and arch width. Wide lower arches were predominant in all face types whereas wide upper arches were predominant in hypo- and hyperdivergent subjects.

Multicenter Study Comparative StudyFactors associated with tobacco smoking among 6-10 grade school students in an urban Taluka of Sindh.
To determine the factors related to tobacco smoking among students of grade 6-10 in an urban setting in Sindh, Pakistan. ⋯ High frequency of tobacco smoking, the attitude toward tobacco consumption and a very high consumption of Areca nuts and other chewable tobacco products by the children warrants urgent action in order to control the tobacco epidemic in Pakistan.

Comparative StudyPersonal and social factors regarding medical non-compliance in cardiac failure patients.
To determine the frequency and association of various personal and social factors with medical non-compliance in cardiac failure patients. ⋯ Medical non-compliance is very common in heart failure patients. Illiteracy and no self engagement in therapy are associated with non-compliance.

Multicenter StudySchool children training for basic life support.
To determine the background knowledge of high school children on basic life support by calculating the points scored in a MCQ-based test; to evaluate results of teaching basic life support skills to them; and assessing their power of retention by re-testing them on skills and MCQ test after the workshop. ⋯ Children can learn and perform basic life support skills with reasonable accuracy and can retain these skills for longer periods. CPR training should be provided to all school children after 6th grade.

To determine the frequency of clinical features of Celiac disease (CD) and Celiac crisis in children. ⋯ Majority of children with Celiac disease presented with typical symptom, while Celiac crisis was characterized by severe dehydration, weakness and calcium deficiency signs. Most were the product of consanguineous marriages and were given Gluten-containing weaning foods as early as the 4th month of life.
