Multicenter StudyClinical management of vesicoureteral reflux with respect to EAU Guidelines: A multicenter study.
We designed a multicenter, retrospective study to investigate the current trends in initial management of reflux with respect to European Association of Urology (EAU) Guidelines in Urology clinics of our country. ⋯ Current trends in management of reflux in our country do not yet follow the EAU guidelines on VUR in low and moderate risk groups despite these reliable and accepted guidelines were expected to influence our daily approach.

Randomized Controlled TrialSerum TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 Levels in Chronic HBV-Infected Patients.
The objective of the study was to evaluate the serum levels of tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-6 in chronic HBV-infected patients. ⋯ The results of our study showed that serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 are increased in CHB patients.

Multicenter StudyPredicting all-cause unplanned readmission within 30 days of discharge using electronic medical record data: a multi-center study.
To develop a predictive model for identifying patients at high risk of all-cause unplanned readmission within 30 days after discharge, using administrative data available before discharge. ⋯ We propose a 10-item predictive model to flag high-risk patients in a diverse population before discharge using readily available hospital administrative data which can easily be integrated into the hospital information system.

Epidemiology, Treatment Patterns, and Survival of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (CLL/SLL) in Taiwan, 2006-2015.
Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) is one of the most frequent types of leukaemia/lymphoma in adults in Western countries. However, there are few studies regarding its epidemiology and treatment patterns in Asian countries. ⋯ This study is the first population-based study in Asia and provides comprehensive evidence of epidemiology, treatment patterns and survivals of CLL/SLL in an Asian population.

The relationship between serum uric acid level and uric acid / creatinine ratio with COPD severity (stable or acute exacerbation) and the development of cor pulmonale.
There are studies reporting that uric acid elevation is a marker for hypoxemia and pulmonary hypertension secondary to some diseases. ⋯ Serum uric acid level and uric acid/creatinine ratio were found to be higher in patients with exacerbation of COPD and those developing cor pulmonale. Consequently, it suggests that serum uric acid level and serum uric acid/creatinine ratio may be a stimulating laboratory test for the severity of COPD and the development of COPD induced cor pulmonale.
