The effect of surgery on the survival status of patients with locally advanced cervical cancer after radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy: a meta-analysis.

To determine the effect of surgery on the survival status of patients with locally advanced cervical cancer after radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy. ⋯ This meta-analysis suggested that surgery had no effect on overall survival after radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy; therefore, it is not recommended for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer.
