Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
The efficacy of two oral hygiene regimens in reducing oral malodour: a randomised clinical trial.
This study compared the efficacy of two oral hygiene regimens in reducing oral malodour and the proportions of bacterial species involved in the production of volatile sulphur compounds. ⋯ Brushing followed by rinsing with a 0.075% CPC mouthwash provided statistically significantly greater reductions in oral malodour, measured organoleptically and instrumentally, and in the proportions of red-complex species when compared with brushing alone.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Efficacy comparison of periapical infiltration injection of dexamethasone, morphine and placebo for postoperative endodontic pain.
To evaluate the efficacy of periapical infiltration injection of dexamethasone and morphine in reducing postoperative endodontic pain. ⋯ Periapical infiltration of dexamethasone and morphine led to a considerable decrease in postoperative endodontic pain during the first 24 h after operation. Dexamethasone was more effective than morphine in pain reduction.
