Multicenter StudyThrombotic Microangiopathy Associated with Macrophage Activation Syndrome: A Multinational Study of 23 Patients.
To describe the clinical characteristics, treatment, and outcomes of a multinational cohort of patients with macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) and thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA). ⋯ The possible coexistence of MAS and TMA in rheumatic diseases may be underrecognized. This association should be considered in patients with MAS who develop disproportionate anemia, thrombocytopenia, and lactate dehydrogenase increase, or have multiorgan failure.

Multicenter StudyImproving Pediatric Readiness in General Emergency Departments: A Prospective Interventional Study.
To describe the impact of a national interventional collaborative on pediatric readiness within general emergency departments (EDs). ⋯ Implementing a collaborative intervention model including simulation and quality improvement initiatives is associated with improvement in WPRS when disseminated to a diverse group of general EDs partnering with their regional pediatric academic medical centers. This work provides evidence that innovative collaboration facilitated by academic medical centers can serve as an effective strategy to improve pediatric readiness and processes of care.

Multicenter StudySymptom Burden, School Function, and Physical Activity One Year Following Pediatric Concussion.
To characterize symptom burden, school function, and physical activity in youth 1 year following acute concussion and those with subsequent repeat concussion. ⋯ Most youth are symptom-free and fully recovered 1 year following concussion. Some children with repeat concussion have worse outcomes and have delays in returning to normal school routines and sport.

Multicenter Study Observational StudyMultisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children Associated with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection (MIS-C): A Multi-institutional Study from New York City.
To assess clinical characteristics and outcomes of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2-associated multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C). ⋯ Critically ill children with coronavirus disease-2019-associated MIS-C have a spectrum of severity broader than described previously but still require careful supportive intensive care. Rapid, complete clinical and myocardial recovery was almost universal.

Multicenter StudyCharacteristics of Concussion in Elementary School-Aged Children: Implications for Clinical Management.
To comprehensively characterize the clinical presentation and course of care for concussion among 5- to 11-year-old children, identifying preinjury and injury factors potentially influencing clinical outcomes. ⋯ Somatic symptoms, sleep problems, and visiovestibular deficits are common in elementary school-aged children with concussion, but specific visiovestibular clinical assessments are often not performed, particularly in the emergency department setting. Recommendations for school accommodations are often not provided at the time of concussion diagnosis. Incorporating a standardized visiovestibular assessment into practice could facilitate early targeted school accommodations and thereby improve return to learning for elementary school-aged children with concussion.
