The aim of our study is to determine whether mapping the lymphatic drainage and diagnostic excision of lymph nodes from lateral neck compartment is able to detect ultrasound unknown metastases in this compartment early and thus favorably affect the prognosis of patients with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC). ⋯ The method is safe and sensitive for detecting unknown lymph node metastases in the lateral neck compartment, and may facilitate a decision to perform accurate surgical treatment of patients with PTC (Tab. 4, Fig. 2, Ref. 38).

Catatonia can be defined as an etiologically heterogeneous syndrome, with predominant psychomotor disturbances. Historically, the concept of catatonia has been associated with mental disorders, especially schizophrenia. However, nowadays our understanding of catatonia has evolved to recognize it as neuropsychiatric syndrome that can arise from diverse etiological factors ranging from neurological to systemic diseases. ⋯ Management of catatonic syndrome associated with COVID-19 is a challenge and requires a comprehensive therapeutic approach. The article demonstrates the above-mentioned difficulties of treatment through two case presentations (Tab. 2, Ref. 29). There is evidence that the adverse effects of metamizole occur due to the effect of the drug on the hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells, and therefore, the disruption of hematopoiesis. Therefore, our study aimed to evaluate the effects of metamizole on hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells using cell culture techniques. ⋯ CFU method can be used as a suitable method to investigate the effects of drugs and toxic substances on hematopoiesis. We also think it may be suitable for pre-analysing hematopoietic side effects in new drug research. In addition, using stem cell samples in studies may contribute more easily to the in vitro simulation of hematopoietic differentiations (Fig. 7, Ref. 29). To explain the bio-physiological mechanisms of the antidiabetic effect of betulinic acid in Lotus rhizome. ⋯ The triterpenoid, Betulinic acid exerts its antidiabetic effect via seven bio-physiological mechanisms including, inhibiting α-glucosidase and α-amylase, upregulating the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1 α, enhancing AS160 protein phosphorylation, stimulating adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase activation, stimulating Glucose transporter type 4 synthesis and translocation, inhibiting Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1 B activity preventing dephosphorylation of insulin receptor and stimulating Takeda-G-protein-receptor-5 resulting in an increased release of insulin from insulin-containing granulesCONCLUSION: The available scientific knowledge explains that betulinic acid in Lotus rhizome can improve glucose homeostasis contributing to the antidiabetic effect of this root (Tab. 1, Fig. 6, Ref. 29).

The neuro developmental condition known as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects people on a lifetime basis and exhibits itself in a wide range of ways. In this research work a brand-new semi-supervised training method for the recognition of discrete multi-modal autism spectrum disorder is proposed. At the coarse-grained level, we consider that various methodologies are anticipated to explore equivalent information about child autism. ⋯ Deep Coupled AlexNet is developed to obtain 98.13 % of accuracy, 95.1 % of precision, 94.3 % of recall and 95.4 of F1-score for OMEGE dataset. Moreover, 98.6 % of accuracy, 97.2 % of precision, 98.5 of recall and 97.5 % of F1-score for DIAEMO dataset (Tab. 8, Fig. 10, Ref. 16). Keywords: autism spectrum disorder, artificial neural networks, emotion recognition, interaction design, multimodal factors.
