We aimed to compare laboratory features, histopathological types, response to treatment of patients with non hodgkin lymphoma in our department and other regions. ⋯ The frequency of lymphoma subtypes, clinical characteristics, treatment outcomes and survival rate vary from region to region. Therefore it is important to determine dissimilarity of these parameters for improve of survey.

To determine 3rd generation cephalosporin resistance in patients with community-acquired spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) using early response assessment. ⋯ Cephalosporin resistance was present in 16.2% of study patients with community-acquired SBP. Mortality in SBP patients is associated with advanced stage of liver disease.

To determine the need of contemporary immersive approaches (Virtual Reality) in teaching and training at medical sector. The main objective of this study was to explore the effects of text, video and immersive technologies learning methodologies for participants' learning in public and private medical colleges and universities of Pakistan. ⋯ Through this research, we contribute to medical students learning methodologies. In medical studies, both theoretical and practical expertise has a vital role, while repetition of hands-on practice can improve young doctors' professional competency. Virtual reality was found best for medical students in both learning motivation and learning competency. Medical students and educationist may select virtual reality as new learning methodology for curriculum learning.

This study was conducted to explore the relationship between 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D (1,25(OH)2D) and Vitamin-D binding protein (DBP) in patients with periodontitis and healthy controls. ⋯ Within the limits of the study, we conclude that low 1,25(OH)2D levels and high DBP levels are associated with periodontitis.

To evaluate mean decrease in Corneal Endothelial cell Density (CED) after phacoemulsification in patients with different Anterior Chamber Depths (ACDs) and Axial Lengths (ALs). ⋯ ACD and AL affect the CED during phacoemulsification and Intraocular Lens(IOL) implantation and can be considered as risk factors of peroperative endothelial cell loss.
