To determine the inter-rater and intra-rater reliability of the hand-held dynamometer in measuring isometric gluteus medius muscle strength in asymptomatic healthy population. ⋯ Hand-held dynamometer has shown excellent inter-rater and intra-rater reliability in measuring isometric strength of Gluteus Medius muscle among healthy population. It is convenient to be used in clinical settings and can be a useful outcome tool to assess strength in interventional studies.

In Pakistan, there is high incidence of congenital and hereditary anomalies (CA) which are a leading cause of infant mortality and morbidity. In order to elucidate the burden and biodemographic correlates of CA, this study was aimed to report the prevalence-pattern and phenotypic attributes of CA in the Hazara population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. ⋯ The trend of CA and high incidence of sporadic cases observed in this cohort indicate that nongenetic factors may play a significant role in their etiology which could be minimized by improving the healthcare system.

To investigate the diagnostic effect of lung ultrasound on neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS) and to analyze the clinical application value of pulmonary ultrasound score. ⋯ Lung ultrasound has a high diagnostic value in diagnosing NRDS, and lung ultrasound score can evaluate the severity of NRDS in babies to further optimize the diagnosis results, which has important clinical significance.

The present research studied moral injury and psychological resilience in healthcare professionals amid COVID-19 pandemic. Relationship between moral injury and resilience was explored in addition to finding the difference in study variables based on socio-demographics factors. ⋯ The findings of the study are helpful for stakeholders of health care system to better understand and prepare for the situations that brings moral injury and challenge psychological resilience particularly in times of pandemic, humanitarian crisis, or natural disasters.
