To compare the success rates and safety of two-doses of methotrexate versus single dose of methotrexate in ectopic tubal pregnancy. ⋯ Although, β -hCG resolution time was significantly low in two-dose protocol but single-dose methotrexate offered comparable success rates versus two-dose protocol. Side effects were mild and comparable in both methotrexate treatment protocols. Methotrexate was found to be effective in the medical management of ectopic pregnancy.

To explore the effect and value of salbutamol and budesonide in the treatment of patients with acute attack of bronchial asthma. ⋯ On the basis of routine treatment, budesonide combined with salbutamol atomization inhalation for the treatment of patients with acute attack of asthma can be more efficient in improving symptoms and pulmonary, function and promote the effective reduction of EOS and IgE levels in peripheral blood.

To evaluate and compare the effects of redo percutaneous mitral valvuloplasty with initial percutaneous mitral valvuloplasty (PMV) in mitral restenosis (MR) and de novo mitral stenosis (MS) patients, respectively. ⋯ Redo PMV for MR when performed after successful initial PMV is effective, has considerable rate of procedural success, which is achieved with a complication rate less as compared to initial PMV for de novo mitral stenosis.

To investigate the effects of percutaneous vertebroplasty with high viscosity bone cement on pain and the levels of bone specific alkaline phosphatase (BALP), Type-I collagen cross-linked telopeptide (CTX) and serum osteocalcin (BGP) in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. ⋯ Percutaneous vertebroplasty with high viscosity bone cement in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures can reduce the incidence of bone cement leakage and help to further reduce pain and improve bone metabolism.

To compare the efficiency of U100 laser and pneumatic ballistics combined with percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopic lithotripsy (PTCSL) in the treatment of intra-and extrahepatic bile duct stones and their effects on liver function. ⋯ Compared with pneumatic ballistics, U100 laser lithotripsy combined with PTCSL in the treatment of intra and extrahepatic bile duct stones has the advantages of less postoperative pain, shorter hospital stay, less biliary bleeding and stone residue, and less damage to liver function.
